So, I think I have my sweet spot (as long as everything works)! Now it is time to play with the juice. As not to get in trouble with naming brands; currently, I have the following juices:
** RY4, cappuccino, caramel apple, orange cream, chocolate strawberry, grape, watermelon, bananas foster, strawberry cheesecake, cinnamon roll, chewy bear, cookies and cream, grape bubblegum, mint chocolate chip and sugar cookie
I thought that I liked watermelon and after the attack of the taste buds, I am finding that I really don’t like it at all. Grape is also not really working.
I have a carto I took apart as a tester so I could mix these but I am not very creative so………
Who wants to help me by suggesting mixes OR suggest flavors that would go with what I have.

p.s. I really don’t understand the PG/VG thing……I mean, I know what they are but I played with the % on a recent order of 5 and I don’t see any difference.

One I posted elsewhere

PG is more of a flavor carrier and VG produces most vapor. Either can cause reactions. PG mostly dryness, scratchy throat, etc. Referred as PG/VG is really PG:VG. I'm currently at 60/40. Tried 40/60 yesterday and noticed a drop in flavor. Remember, everyone is different.

Here is where you should be looking.

Bananas Foster will drown anything out that you don't like. A little goes a long way with this flavor too. Careful with mixing cinnamon roll with stuff. Sometimes the cinnamon turns into the red-hot kind, instead of the spice kind when mixed with stuff.

THANKS CINDY!!

So, I tried the Strawberry Cheesecake with the Chocolate Strawberry.........50/50 split and the chocolate was still the dominant flavor (I felt it was by itself). I took it to 2/3 strawberry cheesecake and 1/3 chocolate strawberry and it is better. I don't mind the bigger berry flavor but the cheescake is still kinda muted.

When you mix, is it equal parts or just expiramentation? I thought it was 50/50 and after Cindy's post, it seems that it can be drops of something and a lot of others.

p.s. I had two testers and flooded both of them. I can now vape my t-shirt because I wasnt prepared for a leaky leak :( ended up using a clearo

Ha! You should see my t shirts. I wear them doing everything. I cut down a tree a couple weeks ago. One of the branches sliced my arm. By the time i was done my white t shirt looked likeci was in a slasher film. The look on my wifes face was funny. Just a little blood is what i told her, nothing to be worries about.

I mix everything 50/50. I have so many bottles of samples that i hate. I have a couple 3 ml test bottles i mix them in and use my unsealed auto starter kit from another vendor which is awful to drip on. Yeah i know you shouldnt but i running out of room.

I think your mixing % is going to have to be an educated guess. I just tried some ry4 and gandalf and going to toss it. If it a strong flavor a 30/ 70 may work.

I have found only one flavor i absolutely love. I am going to try mudhills approach of some unflavored and see how i like it. I have mixed some crap that is worse than a smoke.

How was the ry4 and cappuccino?

I actually didnt get that far..........a flavor that I forget to mention is mocha java drizzle and I think that it tastes like eating four week old coffee grounds out of a trash can.............so, I thought I would see what chocolate strawberry would do for it. 50/50 didn't do it and since I was too lazy to make a new tester, I am trying to get the clearo down a few ml to add more chocolate strawberry.

I don't like the cinnamon roll and that is likely the next one. I looked all over the forum and oddly, I didnt see one just for mixes. I know that taste is subjective but suggestion would be neat. I will keep adding to this post as I try new things and keep everyone updated.

RY4 is a good base for anything sweet you might want to mix but just remember most flavorings are very concentrated and much more than 7 drops in 30ml might be too much. i start with a 10ml bottle of RY4 and add 3 to 5 drops of flavor then shake the devil out of it and drip vape it to see if it needs more or less. Once you have it where you like it then just multiply times 3 for a 30 ml mix. :2c:

Unless everyone is using the same "dropping" device, everyones' "mix" stands to not be equal. Perhaps identify what you are using to drop.

Drips/drops vary vendor to vendor, juice to juice.

4 week old coffee grounds ummm, sound like my 2 bottles of SI vanilla.

I thought everyone was using the fancy little stainless steel drip tips that some of the high end suppliers sell. It was one of the first things I learned over on the DIY Forum, that way everyones drip/drop is about equal but then I guess you could screw that up with out much effort if you put the kung fu grip on the bottle. :2c:

I just got two orders today, one from SI and the other from ECBlend.

SI made a mistake with the order, but it was a good mistake. I got everything I ordered as well as two packs of 6mg Mint cartos. Now I thought I didn't like any SI flavors, figuring it was the PG/VG ratio, not to mention the fact that I don't like cartomizers anymore. So I figured these would go to waste, but thought I'd try one anyway. It's actually really good and the carto aftertaste, while not exactly pleasant, apparently makes me nostalgic for the days when I first started vaping. I've been using the carto I tested quite a bit today, and the low nic level is helpful since all my new flavors are 18mg (I got a headache from sampling too much).

I guess to be clear, these are all pre-mixed juices. I havent found a good way to mix other than the clearos at this point and other than a lot of swirling around, I am not sure how well it mixed. I have plenty of cartos but since I flooded two, I can only do 50/50 splits. I guess I am just going to have deal with what I make in at least 1ml quantities.

Without starting another thread, I have another question. Last night, I was drinking homemade tea. Everything I vaped had ZERO taste.......I kept trying different juices and nothing....just bland vape. This evening, same thing. Anyone else every have a dead taste bud night?

Drum I had Lina a muted night too. As for mixing I've been using a glass shot glass in general to squirt my juice in for filling ce3. Aside from seeming easier to get all the juice sucked up into the syringe, also seemed easier to get the pre mixed juice combine. I also played around with layering flavor right into the ce3. It comes out to an interesting vape. Reminds me of one of those layered fancy drinks.
