I keep getting annoying phone calls telling me to get vinyl dual-pane windows or a new furnace, because it's good for the environment. (I already got the new furnace.)

But, hey! Combustible cigarettes put out greenhouse gasses, AND air pollution, AND fill the ocean with fiberglass butts! And look at all that cardboard per pack, when a single 30-ml bottle of juice lasts as long as 3-4 cartons.

We need a rebate for switching to E-cigs.

And we should tell the Big E and Big T that if they get the FDA to mandate replaceable sealed cartos, we'll campaign to get one of those deposits on them like beverage bottles because of all that metal, and let the companies count them and send checks out when you send a few pounds of them back to the vendor.

Hey, let BT go around defending legislative bodies from us instead of the other way 'round.

bump because I hate waste, and things like non replaceable batteries/cartos, and yes empty cig boxes that used to fill my car. In a serious tone, yes a rebate for the metals wasted would be cool, but if we're only getting back $.05 for a $5 prefilled carto I'd feel cheated. I'd want the option of filling my PV's up myself.

Well, yeah, I want a rebate on e-cig equipment because it's "green" but I want to give Blu and NJoy reasons to not push too hard for the sealed cartos. Actually, that part was mostly a joke.

But I think it would be fun to try to get someone to submit a bill to Congress to give "green" rebates on starter kids and/or mods that take rechargeable batteries on the grounds that it is analagous to buying a new 'fridge or furnace of window. Let's be the ones initiating things instead lf always stuck, as one other poster put it, playing whack-a-mole wrt legislation.

I sold some of those windows and let me tell ya, unless you were a tax expert you needed a letter from god to get your rebate heh. You had to have this style of receipt, logged onto this website, reviewed by this committee.

For an e-cig rebate they would probably have us compete in a triathlon and then disqualify us for "doping" with nicotine.
