This thread has been hilarious!! I don't do FB, but definitely wanted to say wahooo to a new vendor, and welcome to ECF!

Can't say I have any funny stories, but today at church a lady told me she was really glad I had quit smoking, but how long was I going to HAVE to use this?

I wanted to say sumpthin about a 3 yr mandatory vape period, but instead just told her that it wasn't gonna kill me so I really didn't care!

ETA: Oh, and I think dreamingbutterflies should win something just for naming a kitten mufasa!! hehehe love it.

Ok this story isn't that funny and I am currently on pain killers as I type this:

OK I broke my pinky toe and cracked two bones in my foot yesterday and as I get to the hospital and get checked in the ER. I start wondering wether I can get away with vaping. This isn't a normal hospital where all they can do is yell at you. This is a military hospital where I could get more that an azz chewing. So I start contemplating how I want to approach this situation. So I get through xray and confirm I have multiple fractures going and was told it would have to be reduced (bones put back in place, manually hurts like hell). I am sitting alone in this room been there for about 20 mins while docs get everything ready to I pull out my ego with drip tip on it and start vaping.

Male nurse #1 walks in as soon as I blow out huge cloud of vapor: hey bro I know this is going to hurt and you told me you quit smoking. So why are you doing it in a hospital when there is an oxygen system right behind you, are you trying to blow this place up?
Me: No its cool its an ecig, no fire, just heating element and water vapor, it will help me calm down for this.
Male nurse #1 looks at it, Ok as long as there isn't no little boy and fat man thing going (nukes dropped on japan wwII)
Me: Started laughing, No nothing will happen.
Doctor: walks in as I take a hit on my ego and blow it out "SECURITY, SECURITY"
me: "Oh ....."
male nurse : its ok doc its one of those ecig things hes trying to calm down for this, no flame just water vapor.

shortly there after I was injected with copious amounts of lidocaine and my foot attempted to be reset, not much was done.
today i went to ortho- confirmed multiple fractures again, injected with more copious amounts of lidocaine and foot attempted to be reset AGAIN, not much was done, tape applied to toe next to it.
Doc says " We will try this and see if it starts to heal, if not in 3 weeks we will do surgery to put a pin in"
Me: "cant we just cut the toe off?"
Doc " Laughs, No we cant cut your toe off, go home and smoke your ecigarette and take some pain pills, lay on the couch and find a lot of movies to watch."

then on way home my 306 atty died and I has no replacement, currently trying to bribe friends to go get me one from vapure. i have my stardust but it doesnt hit like the 306 does.

I work in health care (an inpatient hospice unit) and I often sneak a vape in the break room (it has a small room off the back for storage).

I don't THINK I'd be in dutch for vaping, but I don't really want anyone at work to know I used to smoke, so I tend to hide away for a few minutes when I want a vape.
It makes a nice short break from work - kind of a moment of down-time.
I usually check my emails and vape for a few minutes and come out refreshed and ready to 'get to it' again.

I heard someone putting in the code for the outer door and quickly put away my PV and waved away the vapor from my cinnamon blast juice.
My co-worker came in and saw me coming out of the back room. For a moment, I thought I was busted, but she just looked at me and said, 'Oh my gosh, you always smell so good. Right now, you smell like a Cinnabon. What perfume do you wear?!'

I replied, 'Oh, it's Cinnamon Blast oil perfume. Very hard to find...'

I love smelling good rather than constantly fearing that I smell like an ashtray!
What a sense of relief from shame!

Thank you ECF crew, for your support in my journey to be tobacco free...

Look what my husband surprised me with!
Vivi Nova!!!

He heard me talking about them (and, of course, I'm agonizing over the cost, and won't order them myself until I've gone round and round on the pros and cons), so he went ahead and ordered them.

He says he doesn't care if vaping costs ten times what smoking costs - it's worth it.

Gosh, I am so stinking lucky...
