we can actually get three cars in the garage. My side is where I park my car and room to open the door. The rest is his to do as he wished, but no straying!

We had to redo the garage roof and in the process we made a storage area up there. Now that is nice but waiting to see how long it takes him to fill it.
Son doesn't help because he brings stuff over to put up there too.

if you don't use something for 3 mo, move it to the 6 mo pile.... after 6 mo, move to 9 mo pile, after 9 mo --- have a yard sale.... that's basically how it works and it has worked for me once I was able to "let go" of my precious junk!!!

I understand completely and no offense taken. For example, I packed around a broken haybine cutter guard for over a decade. It was useless, but I kept moving it. Finally I was convinced (with difficulty) to discard it.... it was so hard to do that.....lol I think there is a huge sentimental component to our hoarding....
