Yes I am, thanks very much Now today's adventure is a trip to another doc.... it seems like the appts. all fall in one week after months of nothing.....lol

Same for me...... I just found out that my ins. covers rides to doc visits.... no cost.... maybe his plan has some benefit like that??? Worth checking out perhaps.....

He gets most of general stuff done through the VA and they do cover mileage to a from.

That's a help. I about fell over when I somehow found out about this ride service I can use. So far hasn't cost a nickel and for example the visit I had yesterday was 35 miles each way. It's really going to help me save $$, time and eliminate discomfort from long drive.....

There is a place around here that would take him but it's a bus which does not ride as well as his car so he usually drives. That's okay because I usually send him on an errand on his way home.

Aha.... an ulterior motive.... the plot thickens....lol So far I've been picked up in Crown Vics and never had other passengers. But, they insist on dropping me off @ office ~1.5 - 2 hours ahead of scheduled appt. Lucky, the doc takes me right in if I'm there before the other pts. on the schedule.... works out well so far....
