i've seen a bit about "wicking" and getting the fluid toward the atomizer so it doesn't start out or stay too dry, but is there something i should do if i don't puff for a few days? aside from the probable advice of "take it apart" and don't leave the cig assembled.

or...is this what the primer puff is about? connecting the cart and priming it to get the atomizer wet and working? or is there a "better" method to use? also...i'm assuming the carts don't just "dry out" if not used, or should one drip them if not used for a few days just as a precaution to make sure they're moist?

and not sure if these methods would be different for different brands/models, but for me...it will be for my EVO when it arrives. that and hopefully if i can nab a Pilot from puresmoker when they come back in stock :)

Unscrew battery, leave cart in atomizer and lay on its side, not standing up.

A primer puff is a short draw you take on the ecig to pre-heat the coil before you take your main draw. You get better vapor this way.

It's a good idea to top the cart off before starting.

No, same for all.

i know you want to treat your unit right...but i honestly think your way overthinking it...dont worry so much, it will be fine, you really dont need to do anything. just make sure its wet when you go to vape again, you dont want to smoke it dry.I leave batteries on for days with no probs. now if your talking weeks or months id remove the battery....

i remember being exactly where you are a month and a half ago, and being all excited as well.... had a lot of concerns and worries myself. most important things are dont smoke it dry, for the life of your unit, take a few drags and let it cool down!!! dont smoke it hot...dont overfill, and lastly, dont drag like a cig..drag slower and longer, just enough to make it light up, and for like 3-4 secs. follow all that, and you'll enjoy it...
