I found out about BackwoodsBrew.net while looking for good coffee favors. So I bought cappuccino, espresso, malty and waffles. I have had it up on the top shelf for 2 weeks with the lids off. Should I take the drip lids off too, or put the caps on. What do you guys do?

I have cheated and tried the espresso and it tastes a little burned.
The cappuccino isn't great.
I like the malty on low heat when it tastes like cotton candy and only learned the flavor is toasted
Marshmallows if I turn the heat up to what I usually vape at.
Waffles is impressive already

What are a few other flavors you guys like? Or what is your experiences?

for 2 weeks with the lids off

Don't do that,
IT will not help and might diminish the flavor
there are 2 reasons to take caps off

1) to evaporate alcohol used in making the juice 24 hours Capps off will do that
2) to bring air in to begin steep 5 minuets will do that if no alcohol is used in mixing

Steeping is just the time it takes for flavors to meld and or come out or lessen to create the intended flavor

On the backwoods brew website under each flavor there are the suggested steep times

BWB is & has been one of my main go tos from the begining. I have had almost all their flavors & there are none that are bad. All the tobaccos are great. My 2 main vapes are from there, I have to haves these, 555Exotic, & Casablanca. I order a 120 ml bottle of each every other month.........Love me some BWB.

I've been considering trying them... My main problem with most vendors is I get a weird perfume flavor that won't steep out. So has anyone noticed this with BWB?

I've tried Casablanca and Honey Flue, and they did not have a perfume flavor at all. I definitely want to try more from BWB, especially Malty/Toffee. I know what you are talking about too, I've tasted it occasionally from other vendors. Another good vendor that consistently does not have the perfume taste is MOV. One that is usually good but can occasionally taste perfumey/soapy is HHV (and as you say, it never steeps out).

A while back I had three of theirs:

Cola -- By far, the best! Swear you're drinking real soda.. Maybe it was just me, but after a while I started noticing not only the cola, but some lemon-lime in there, too.. Weird!

Cinnamon Bun -- This was pretty good, and I enjoyed it.. the cinnamon tones down more after a few days

Waffle -- Was my least favorite.. but still tasted like real waffles with maple syrup & butter! The maple tones down after a few days. I found it made a better base mix, because after a while by itself was too.. waffely for me. Mixing it with Cinnamon Bun and/or some fruits made it much more enjoyable for me

My only issue with BWB? Way too much PG for me!

I eventually found out that PG & I don't get along so well, unless it's 10% or less..

Which is a bummer, because I definitely would have re-ordered some Cola, and try out some of their other flavors

Finally, I echo vjc0628's post about steeping...

With my BWB, no caps off.. let them steep per BWB's recommendations for each individual flavor (found under the "Steeping" tab)... In my case all were 3 days, which I found to be accurate

If you don't mind or even prefer higher PG levels, give them a try!

I wish I could have continued with them further...

I used to be a great fan of BWB untill my last order. I ordered 15ml each of 555E, Applewood, Casablanca, Virginia and Adirondak. I found the 555E to be unvapable, as was the Adirondak and after steeping the Applewood 3 weeks, I have yet to taste any apple at all. The worst part of my experience is that BWB wouldn't post my negative reviews of the 555E and the Applewood. They said It takes time to post them and negative reviews can't be nasty or vulgar. There was nothing vulgar or nasty in the reviews, so I called them on it and they only posted one of the negative reviews (Adirondak). I like the Casablanca (unique cocoa taste) but the Virginia is nothing to write home about (it's acceptable) and have been a fan of Malty Toffee for a while. Yet a supplier who won't post a bad review about a juice is just not a company that I will waste my hard earned money on any longer. So, there it is, warts and all, sorry. YMMV.

I gave them a shot with Malty and several of the more talked about tobaccos. The bottle of Malty I received was dated three months prior and up sized from what I ordered, which I appreciated initially. The next day it got tossed. I found it utterly flavorless. Casablanca and 555 Exotic immediately went into the steeping cabinet for a month. A month later they both got tossed. The 555 exotic was the most offensive juice I've tried to date. Full on assault of perfume and potpourri like I could have never imagined. I gave Honey Flue an honest chance and tossed it too. I still have a lone bottle of Virginia that I have been mixing with other tobaccos to give it some more flavor. All in all, I feel BWB is stuck in 2011. There are so many juices out there now with better and more complex flavors, I get more satisfaction from my old supply of Chinese juices. Not that they are staples for me, but I'd put them above BWB. JMHO.

Got 3 bottles from them that were steeped steady 3 months. All were almost flavor less.

That orange popsicle juice was nothing close to the real thing. Atleast not the ones my Grandma was addicted to.

They are known for subtle flavors.

Check their forum for recommendations- they also have a coupon code and weekly give away.

Gotta agree with ya on that 555E juice....just really assaults the senses and not in a good way! I still have the Virginia but it will probably be tossed too....I just hate wasting money on bad juice. Lesson learned.
