Hey Gang Now that I ruled out PG issues along with the lack of WTA's , I am about to give it a second go.
By the end of the week I should get some PG FREE unflavored WTA e juice ( %100 VG)
For those of you that have found they were not able to successful quit or transition to vaping without use of WTA base liquid. Would you Please share some of your experience .

How you made the transition to cut back ?
Where ya at now as far as smoking / vaping ?
Do you need to vape ALL WTA juices or found you may only need some daily ?
If you are %100 smoke free, what is your daily WTA use and frequency?

Thanks for all the feedback :)

This is what I posted after trying the juice...

Wow. I was making a B line for my cigs earlier and grabbed my wta, well your Wta... didn't get near the cig. That was a few hours ago. Now to be honest I don't like the taste but who cares. The effects work.

Now to be fair I got bad news and grabbed the cigs. That was just habit and I didn't need the stress of HAVING to vape. The WTA does take away the physical for me, but not the mental. I am sorry about you wife's attitude

Kenny, I am glad you opened this subject up!

Honestly I have been in a similar boat as you (as in, I am sensitive to PG (sounds like your reaction is much worse than mine.) and have been wanting to quit. I do well on all VG liquids, but I need to determine if the harshness of the nicotine is a partial cause to the soreness of throat.

I as well am still smoking and thinking WTA may just be my answer to finally quit. I wish you the best of luck and was warmed that people looked out for you when the WC WTA went on sale. Great people... :)

Anyways... you're not fully alone in your quest and I will be watching this thread!

And, I am praying for you. Did when I read your first post about trying to go back to vaping and the wife's response. I wish you all the luck and will try and help support verbally if nothing else.

Hi Kenny,

I started vaping at the end of March--was smoke-free for a couple/few weeks until 2 major life-stress events occured, (I decided I need to file bankruptcy, and a 20+ year relationship appeared to be ending), and some unidentified allergic reaction to juice popped up. I was still vaping, but under the stress I was smoking more at home. Around that time I decided I NEEDED the WTA and also started playing with juices to see if I could discover the allergy isse. I focused on VG liquid and smoking in order to clear myself of the allergen.

Got the WTA and continued to smoke 1-2 cigs a day until the pack ran out (about 2 weeks).

Once that pack ran out, I was feeling good enough that I didn't buy any more. That was June 8th. About 2 weeks after that (last week), the allergies started to show up again...but this time, I'm using sudafed and benadryl to keep them at bay. I'm not suggesting you do this, but it is working for me. I am noticing that even though I'm not pumping myself with antihistamine the "problem" juices are not causing the problems as much or at all. I dont know if I'm working my way to desensitizing my system, or if the residual antihistamines are holding the worst of it off--but I will continue to take them at night and/or as needed and pray that it's temporary.

As to the WTA, I started off using it all the time, since I was stressed out pretty heavily. I noticed that the more I used it, actually, the less effect it was having and it wasn't helping the cravings anymore. So, I decided to just use it 3x a day--to keep things on an even keel. Now, I'm maybe 2x a day or less, and it's working very well to keep the cravings off.

I think when you not only have a physical need for the alkaloids but are also dealing with allergies to the juice it obviously creates a situation where quitting is near to impossible. I have been able to get to a point where I'm confident that I'll stay smoke free--or that IF I smoke, it's because I want to, not because I have to. This time around feels totally different and very much easier than my first few weeks quitting right away (which at the time seemed pretty easy). I simply have no cravings whatsoever.

Today marks three weeks completely smoke free for me, from my first relapse point. I just updated my signature because not only am I smoke free, but comfortably so. I'm pretty confident that I'm over the hump. My hope is that you'll get there too!

Hey Kenny. Have you tried it yet?? Been wondering how it is going.

didnt forget about you Lori been busy at work with the 4 day weekend coming....

thanks for asking .. yup yup .Im trying but im still having some issues not sure what it is yet . Cloggy ears, foggy head ( Only tried but 3-5 times) . I have tried W some / VG base flavor and strraight up But in each time something weird...Again still not sure . However I will make sure i do a few isolated trials before i give up the idea. Now im a bit bummed out. because i really loved to vape....

The PG issues were obvious and pronounced symptoms. ( headaches mostly brain freeze dopiness clogged eyes and ears and head. these are more subtle . ya know I have never ever ever been allergic to anything in my life . No food intolerance's ,nor chemical sensitivity never had any reaction form anything less poison ivy or bug bites. Never got headaches either... For some reason its either the delivery , the equipment the base or something else not having a clear head.. again thanks for asking but I will need some time to do isolated trials before I can rule out where the symptoms are coming from.

give me some time i will have a more difinitive answer . Thanks again for asking about me.
My Best

I vape around a .5 - 1ml WTA a day. More toward the .5 than the 1 though. I mostly just drop 2 or 3 drops into my dripping atty at some point in the morning and again around early evening and put maybe 6 drops in the clearo I keep my menthol in when I do a full refill on it. On the rare occasion I think of smoking I'll have a couple of drops then.

i think that is wonderful thank you for sharing :) . I have not given up the idea as of yet . And with my trials with the WTA as a replacement it has not brought satisfaction. Need to restart the quilting process all over again. Think about this everyday , but the longer i continue to smoke Rollies now the harder it is.
Thanks all for your support

How much smoking / vaping do you do daily?

and do you need all WTA juices to satisfy your smoking cravings?

I know its been a while since i have correspond but id like to get a few responses to the topic perhaps a jump start to continue to transition back to vaping .
thanks

rounding third and heading home...
I, for one, could never have quit without wta. every juice I tried before wta just had me edgy and flavor hopping all day-it wasn't working. to make a long story short, I now vape unfavored 24 or 25 mg in the ams , midday, and pms. in between I mix the unflavored with my few juice flavors I enjoy and vape them. the mixture is just enough to get the benefits of the wta without diluting the flavor of the juice too much. there is no formula I just eyeball it. it works for me and I am approaching a year without going near a smoke. don't have any desire for one anymore. at some point I may try to wean off the wta but I am not there yet. besides, I really enjoy it(even the unflavored tastes great to me) and I feel much better than I ever did smoking. I am grateful there are 2 suppliers- with each batch each company's product gets better and better........

I suspect that in total I vape 3-4 ml of 16-18 strength a day. No smoking though. And yes I am positive that the WTA satisfies the cravings. I know when I am not getting enough because I start thinking about smoking. When I very first started vaping I went 3 weeks with no cravings to speak of. And then suddenly they were back and stayed back for another several months until I tried the WTA. It is pretty much the difference between night and day. I really have no interested in weaning myself off the nic and wta because I find them preferable to prescription drugs with much more clear cut side effects.
