I've only been a vaper during the cold months so far and was wondering if any of the more experienced folks, or people that live in places where it's hot year round, have any good tips or warnings for when it gets hot?

curious about keeping mods, batteries and juice in the car.

grabbing a stainless steel mod that has been sitting in a 100 degree car all day is the obvious no-no...

Last summer I learned that CE3 bottom coils (aka Phoenix) leak when they get hot. I think it's because the air inside them expands and pushes the liquid out. This would probably apply to anything you have to syringe fill upside-down.

For my trips to the beach, when I was leaving stuff in my car in the heat, I put an ice pack inside of a plastic bag, wrapped it in a dishtowel and put that and my vaping supplies inside of a plastic food storage container with a lid.

I keep a 5/8" x 6.5" inch tube mod in my pants pocket all day and don't even notice it's there. Length isn't everything.

As everyone says, don't let the PV lay out in the sun. Heat can cause a catastrophic battery failure.

We get lots of days in the 90's and low 100's. You will notice that cartos run noticeably hotter in warm weather and can get really hot to the touch while chain vaping. I use cartos without a tank. My APV has a removable cone that I'm about to remove for the summer. The cones retain heat around the carto. I like the cone during cooler weather as it keeps the carto warmer during use.

...getting back on topic, last summer i was using cartos almost exclusively. i noticed that the hot weather would cause them to leak. leaking out the battery connector part and also into the drip tip. yuck!

i like that fishermans vest idea posted earlier! how about one of these badboys?
