Hi all,

I've been reading quite a few threads and trying to understand, what is the best bang for your buck when it comes with pairing tanks with devices.

I'm looking at the VTR, 134 Mini and the MVP 2.0 (I believe the Shine and starters are the same, minus the design and default clearomizers included).

I read a good MVP 2.0 discussion here but the thread is closed. It seems like everyone is going for the Aerotank Mini or the Nautilus Mini tank. How do these compare to the iClear S model by Innokin?

Also for the VTR and 134 Mini, I see a lot of folks getting the above 3 tanks. Does anyone recommend anything else around the same price range or even lower that works just as good?

Just trying to get a better understanding of what pairs the best units with the best mods.

Thanks

Nautilus mini if you go with the VTR, I'd go full size if not. Only mini on the VTR so you can use the tank protector and not have to screw in the extension (I believe).

Personally, I'd say screw all that and get a DNA30 clone or better for around the same price and be set for wherever your vaping journey takes you. That being said, if you're 100% sure you'll never move on to dripping/rebuildables then the VTR wouldn't be a bad choice... You might also wanna look into a ProVari, but they're a bit more expensive.

My favorite combination right now is my MVP2 and my Nautilus tank fitted with the stainless steel cage tank instead of the bulbous original 5ml tank that comes standard. Yeah it was an extra $9.99 for the stainless steel cage tank but for somebody like me that keeps my MVP2 in my front pocket when ever I'm out and about in town, it's well worth it when I accidentally bump into something that might otherwise break the original Nautilus tank.

I just find that for my vaping, the Nautilus tank does me the best. I don't get burnt hits no matter how much I vape on it, and the air flow on wide open suits me perfectly for straight to lung hits.

I typically vape with this combo at 9 to 9.5 watts the majority of the time, although some liquids pretty much require changing that one way or another to get the most flavor out of them.

My second favorite would be the AeroTank mega except that when it is really hot out and it's in my front pocket, it tends to leak, I'm guessing the oil changes viscosity and then just plain leaks down into the coil and out through the air hole. If I'm at home, it's a close race between the Nautilus and the AeroTank as they both seem to be pretty equal if the ambient temperature is under 80°f. But I do tend to get a burnt hit on the Aerotank if I vape too much too quickly where as I don't get that when using the Nautilus.

I have however, seen youtubers that report that they do indeed get burnt hits if they vape too quickly, like if they were to take 3 to 4 really large hits one right after the other (not the way I normally vape so probably why it doesn't happen to me) then they get a dry hit / burnt hit.

The only tank that I have that uses a ceramic wick would be my Iciga Ninja, which I whole heartedly do NOT recommend. I'm constantly getting dry or burnt hits and yet it seems to suck down eliquid like nobody's business. I've been trying to find the Nautilus BVC coils locally but none of the 3 local shops carry it and none of the 3 local shops even knew about them until I asked for them.

As far as the iclear goes, the only thing that I really like about it is the knuckle drip tip (am still looking for a knuckle metal drip tip like the Iclears only in a push on instead of the iclear's screw on), other than that I find the draw way too tight on the Iclears and so to me it's just about unusable. Especially after using either the Nautilus or the AeroTank which both have the adjustable air flow, it's now near impossible for me to enjoy vaping on a non adjustable tank anymore. Was only able to go back to my ProTank 2 by purchasing the adjustable bottom cap with the adjustable air flow ring but now I've got to vape really slow on it or I get dry/burnt hits.

I recommend the M4 Sherman. It's a little more expensive, but real solid & great performance.

Put whatever you want on top of your mod. There's a world out there to experiment. You'll hear thousands of different voices, each with a different opinion.

You can try first the tried and true: Aerotank, Nautilus.
Then a little detour: Vapeonly BCC, Vivi Nova
Then, the grand tour: Rebuildable tanks and drippers

Your taste, your budget, your choice.

Here's the MVP group http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ussion/473345-itaste-mvp-v2-owners-group.html

I use on top of my MVP everything, a Kayfun 3.1, A Vaponly BCC Mega, A Davide Aspire converted for Aerotank heads, an eLeaf BCC mega. Your choice.
