Imo stick with the glass.They might cost more but the flavor is better.
Would you prefer to drink your favorite cocktail out of a glass or a dixie cup? Restaurants choose glass because it cant impart any flavor to a liquid unlike plastics (even the safe ones).
This is also why RBAS use fused quartz (another chemically inert material) or Pyrex for their tanks in favor of cheaper and easier to work with plastics.
