I dislike the idea of relying on o-rings to keep everything sealed like how most carto tanks are, seems like I'd be replacing o-rings often and always worry about it leaks. I'll search, but if anyone knows of a sealed tank they reccomend, go ahead. But I might but a bigger mod set up to use an SS wick afterall after I learn about those.
thanks

You're probably not going to find an RBA that doesn't also use O-rings to create a tight seal.

From everything I've read on the forum, polypropolyene (sp?) is better than polycarbonate, anodized aluminum (same material canned food comes in), stainless steel and glass/pyrex are the best to prevent leaching. I use 3.5 ml PP vivi novas (V3) and a mini metal vivi nova (V2.5) and have not had any problems with leaking unless I overfill the tanks, but that's user error, not a product defect. I would LOVE a glass version of these, since the SS and glass options are much larger and cost A LOT more up front. Got Vapes has a Titan tank that has a metal on metal seal, so it might be something you want to check out, however, it's a 5-6 ml tank, so the size is definitely not what your looking for.

the metal vivi nova tanks don't have windows, I'd rather vape out of plastic/solid glass to see the juice level. I want glass because it's got to be healthier when it heats up and won't leach chemicals.
I was hoping for something like this BliSS Genesis Atomizer but smaller

"Is the stainless thing coming with a hope of thick VG compatibility? Are you just looking for something to work with thick juice?"
Well, I searched some threads and read SS is tbetter taste and healthier.

The carto punch is important too (i spent about $45? On disc. Coupon) get a good one and the ability to change the puncher to have a nice sharp tip. When dull the carto warps too much and causes problems sliding the carto in. It won't. TheEcig makes a three ml and it doesn't look anything like a hammer. It's just a carto tank set up. It's Pyrex and choose the chrome caps. His cartos are too expensive but his tanks are good. I have 4. Get the clear. Takes 35 mm standard length carto with flange. This my 2cents. He has a video for newbies.its very slow but actually really covers all the little possibilities for loading etc. if you prime the carto right and the juice is right for number if holes all is good. I prefer to use one hole and prime occasionally rather than risk the chance of flooding. You have to play with it to find out. Anytime you move this tank off or on or down to open the space to add juice remember to grap the chrome caps. I forget a lot and occasionally I separate the cap from the Pyrex and of course sometimes make a mess! But these have never leaked and i havent come near to needing new orings in 6 months so...You can get rebuildablepyrex tank tubes off IB tanked too. You'd best ask a rba expert

They're still typical tanks with O rings and you'd need to buy your cartos appropriately or punch your own holes, but as far as a tough metal tank with a window, look into the models available at Big Daddy Vapes..

This, Rebuildable Atomizers : RTD DID Clone is just a bit bigger around than an EGO and you can get a glass tube for it.
BUT, I'd strongly advise AGAINST trying to run any RBA on an EGO battery. There are a lot of problems that come up when setting up an RBA and it takes some time to get them sorted out. Where the EGO has no protection circuit, it's very easy to make them inoperable. IE all the "magic black smoke comes out!" Ego's are not fond of anything under 1.5 ohms either.
I understand what you want, I get why you want it, but I just can't say this is a good idea with the tools you have to work with.

thanks. I'm gonna stick with my Ego and clearos for now as I learn about MODs.
I spent about 70$ for an EGO 1300mah Vision spinner w/ charger, kanger mt3, and Mini Nova w/ extra coils. I haven't used anything yet because I want to get off on the right foot with the high-end juice I'm waiting for instead of the likely expired, left in the sun, flea market crap I have now. I considered re-looking up the different vendors I ordered from, hoping they allow returns for these, repackaging everything that's supposed to be sealed and make that the vendors' problem, box everything again, and pay return shipping. Anyway, it's best for me to use this instead of analogs untill I learn enough about MODs, then I'll just sell/give the Spinner, MT3, and mini nova to someone who probably wouldn't even want a MOD afterall so everything evens out for the most part.
have a good one.
