LG HE2 and ipv d2

Since there is no step down and tc sometimes eats battery life I'm just wondering.

LG he2 nominal voltage 3.6, max charge 4.2

I vape usually with kanthal at ~.8 ohms ~20w. Do these batteries hold the max charge for long or am I safe with using power mode as I'll only be over 20w for a very short time, aka they hold 4.2v for a very short time?

The D2 does step down in TC mode, so the workaround is to use that and treat Joules like Watts (they're functionally equivalent in this instance). Set the temp high and vape on.

You won't get temp control obviously, but it works.

Oh ya I've read up on the work around (I get mine in 2 days) I was just questioning so that id be able to compare battery life in hopes power mode might use a noticeable amount less comparison.

Is nominal voltage what the battery will quickly run to from the max charge or is it more like just the average. I'm probably just over thinking what I don't really understand but if I could make them last longer thought I'd ask.
