LiFePO4 Batteries

I am experiencing some weirdness with my LiFePO4 batteries. I use them stacked in a prodigy v3 from puresmoker for 6volts. So, I put them in the charger, and one charges (as indicated by a red light), and the other acts as though it is still chaged (as indicated by a green light). If I switch the batteries, the same battery still indicates being fully charged. This is not good, correct? But I don't know what it means, or what I need to do about it.

Somethings wrong, I still don't hold a battery PHD but I'd say to chuck them to be safe. You don't want to risk a battery failure of any sort.

I agree with Beans. Get rid of them and get some fresh ones. Don't take any chances.

I didn't want to out of thriftyness, but reason won out. I tossed them. The idea of a critical failure, specifically in my face, is unpleasant to imagine, and must be worse to endure. Thank you guys for telling me what I needed to hear before I had an accident.

If you don't have a multi meter, you should get one. You could test the voltage to see what was going on.

True, OTOH when a battery goes wonky in a set, it is more prudent to toss the set.

One of mine did that once and it was because it was discharged too low so the charger wouldn't charge it.It was 2 volts on my meter when I checked it.Now I pay more attention to my vape and change the batts out sooner to avoid more damaged batts.
