Per Battery University, typical lithium battery lasts 300 - 500 charge cycles. So, if you need to recharge once/day, that would indicate up to a year of lifetime; for me I like to think of them as 1/2 year of use, for planning purposes. How to prolong lithium-based batteries

This is pretty consistent with the lithiums I've gotten in cell phones.

I've got manual kr8s from V4L that are going on 7 months now. I do notice that their lifespans are shortening, and one is developing a firing problem (occasionally it doesn't want to) but they're still working. According to everything I've read, the Li-Ions are supposed to average between 300 and 500 charges.

Just as an add-on question,
I just want to try a 510 now. And I want to do it without having to buy a J510 set. At least untill I try it.
So I'll get a 901-510 adaptor and use 510 carto (standard, LR, mega) with my kr808.
Do you think this will affect my batt. life? Any issues I should expect?
This won't my everyday vape... just to try a 510 system and LR 510
