Light at the end of the stick

Does anyone know if it's OK to cover the LED at the end of the e-cig? I have a couple of 510s and it would be nice to use them at the show without lighting up the room. Do they make e-cigs with no light? What could you use to cover them with (other than duct tape, my remedy for anything broken).

They do sell some units without LED's on the end - the Kissbox, for example, has no LED. Most of your "power mods" such as the GG, the SD, the Prod - also come without LEDs.

I wouldn't use duct tape or anything to inhibit airflow, though....just cup the LED in your hand when you puff, should be easy enough to hide it that way.

If you look around there are lightless batts for the 510 I think dietsmokes.com has some but I am not positive.

Thanks Vick for the advice. I'm still new to this and I know I could try to cup it in my hand but just looking for another way (in case I forget which would be pretty normal for me!)

Yes I have got mine from the Widow and they have no LED on the ends.

Why not just put your finger over the LED?

I would just basicly form a fist around the end of the cig with my pinky finger folded to cover the led.

On an automatic switched battery - yes - air flows through the entire battery...

Thanks for the great advice, everyone. I will check out the LED free. I do have the manual bat so the fingertip or cupped hand should work. I'm just afraid I would get so involved with the movie I would vape away without thinking, ditzy as I am!

Janty 510 batteries don't have leds either.

Maybe see if an auto parts store has a vacuum line cap that will fit, or get a bottle of plasti-dip from a hardware store or Home Depot. (its that liquid plastic you dip tool handles etc. into)

Pull the plastic ash cap off (comes off easily), insert electric tape into the inside of the plastic cap or on the led light itself. Light is now gone.

I vaped at the movies last weekend. I place my hand over the battery and coverd the tip. I exhaled the vaper into my coke straw. The primer puff got away from me once...ooops.

Super cheap solution: I painted the tip of my "faux ash" in very dark nail polish on my 901 and it does a good job blocking the light. I am not familiar with your model, but on mine there are little rectangular holes along the edge, so I avoided getting polish in those. I like the way it looks much better now as well.
