Great picture Rick. Photographic light painting is so tricky to get right on the exposure but you nailed this one.
Bushmaster... close, they are 4 gauge! but my AR is a bushmaster!
CaptSteve, It's a lot of fun, pretty tricky to do a self portrait using it. I've been playing with it for several sitting so far, I've gotten some pretty awesome photos using it, so I think I will stick with it.

Well I started this whole light painting thing, and was getting some creepy looking photos so I just went with it Imeo
each one kept looking more and more warped, it was too good to pass up!

What happened, you couldn't find an old lady to walk across a street....and shoot that... or a child to push in a swing or even a shot of you at a birthday party wearing a pointy hat with those funky fringes while the people around you are blowing those party favors at your face... what's up with that?
