Hello, I have gotten alot of great info from this site for me, but now I need some info for a friend that is interested in trying E-Cigs. I have the Joye510, but that may be alittle to heavy for them since like to hang it from their mouth when they play the guitar. Does anyone know a model that would be good for that?

That's a bit difficult. I'm a fan of the super mini's but even the small M402 has some weight to it. I tried holding one with my teeth once, and ended up cracking the cartridge mouthpiece.

I was thinking about that myself, as I play guitar as well. A 901 may work since they have the flat tipped mouth piece and would be easier to hold in your teeth w/o too much force. On the other hand, the Janty Mini Fogger and Blu are about the size of an analog and lightweight, but tend to be pretty battery heavy w/ round carts. I use the Blu when I'm out and about, including practice days. And it works while playing, but I have to keep it pushed back on the side of my mouth to keep a good grip on it.

The 84mm is quite light but...
...it doesn't have a manual battery so...
if you are playing electric guitar, the amps and speakers trigger it on all the time... it gets really really hot!!! :shock: ouch!
and more... that can't be a good thing for the lung apparatus, battery & atomizer :rolleyes:

Even away from amps and speakers, I find that any brisk movement triggers it... draining the battery... and also making it kinda hot sometimes!

?---> Are all automatic batteries that sensitive?
@antism Do you have a manual battery? If not, have you experienced the constant triggering?

That said, I think a manual battery is the way to go, guitar or not!
I was looking at the titan or joye510 for my next purchase. Is it that much heavier than the 84mm?

As for holding a manual in your mouth... well...
unless you can do freaky tricks with your tongue :pervy: ...
you couldn't vape while playing guitar with your two hands ;)

Cheers!

I do play guitar, and when I'm playing I use a 510 atty with a VX2 mouthpiece and cart, and a VX2 automatic battery. Path of least resistance would probably just be getting a VX2 kit from litecig. The big thing is the mouthpiece. The VX2 one lends itself to "teeth clenching". And I'm recommending this model because I've done it. A lot. Driving, playing guitar, writing code, etc. the VX2 is the "hands free model" as far as I'm concerned.

Hey Zofryer;

Taking up the harmonica too might be beneficial. You could just tape that vaporizer onto that neck holder for the harmonica. Tee, hee...

Or one step further, I could modify the harmonica slots to be the mouthpieces for the 510 atty. That would be pretty awesome actually. A harmonica e-cig mod with like 10 atomizers. You could play a song that tastes good with ten different flavors. You'd change the way music notation is done.
