I will admit that I hated it at first, but now that it's gone I find myself missing it...

I have tried everything from clearing all of my caches, and even rebooting, but no likey!!

I think the "what's new" and "new posts" buttons may be swapping functions. There was some discussion of this earlier. As to the "like" button, I have no idea why its gone. I was also suspect about it when it was first added, but grew to "like" it. We did a poll on the button in the OUTSIDE! section and the overwhelming consensus was that people like the "like" function.

So, is it just a temporary deletion or is it gone forever? Can we get an official statement on this?

Something has to be in transition. There are a few things out of whack. Stickies not box-separated from normal threads, no Like Button, navigation button to last read post nonfunctional, my posts & other tabs gone, etc. I'm guessing they're busy with the work and no time to respond to these heads-ups & questions... yet...

Hope the 'forum news'/announcments on the home page isn't permanent. Usually those things go away after you click on them. Not this one. I've gotten rid of most of the cr@p with admuncher but it won't touch this.
