Limitless plus wicking help

Hey guys, just got a limitless plus but im having trouble with getting it to wick properly, using the scottish roll wicking method right to the top of the tank, but im getting dry hits on like the second hit in a row :/ any help would be appreciated!

Not sure how others are doing it, but I'm wicking mine all the way to the bottom of the lower deck and having no problems. Other than ripping through 60ml's in two days, lol..

What vg you vaping? I've wicked mine so it hangs right in the top of the tank if that's what you mean?

No, I'm running Japanese Cotton all the way to the bottom deck through the tank with Max VG. Every hit is fully saturated till the tank is dry. Have yet to get a dry hit, even in an intoxicated state, lol..

The lip of the lower deck (down next to the 510) is holding the tails of my wicks.

I just switched from a single coil, but that one was only wicked to right above the glass, nothing was showing in the tank at all. It was a thinner Scottish roll, I didn't want to over stuff the cotton. It worked pretty well, mostly because I use the Limitless Plus while I am walking to and from work, and how I hold my mod as I walk let the juice soak the cotton between hits.

I switched to dual coils last night, I just went with cut strips off of a cotton pad about 6-7 mm wide, tore off the top and bottom layers and those sit right at the top of the glass or a little higher. I will find out how well it works here in a few minutes when I leave for work. Well, that isn't true, I ripped though almost an entire tank last night, no dry hits. But I made sure to tilt the tank back and forth a few times to make sure the juice was hitting the wicks.

I don't like the wicks hanging down too far, just personal preference.

80/20pg is too thick,you have to give the tank a rest lol

My juice is like 90/10 x) but Ive heard people running 100 percent vg getting it to Wick fine :L

Just got mine in today as well. Dual coil claptons and using rayon as wick. I have my wick running about halfway down into the tank and ran my tweezers through the tails to fray them out a bit and remove excess rayon. Haven't had a dry hit yet and already on my 4th tank fill

Edit: Forgot to add, my juice is 80% VG and used the scottish roll method.

What size id are your coils, i use ... pads but i just twist the end of it so i can pull it through the coil, no scottish roll here! then i cut the wick tails somewhere between the glass and bottom of the deck and its good to go.
Maybe doing the roll is making the wick to compressed as it goes through the deck onto the juice!?

im at my girl's house atm so just using the claptons that came with the tank, think they're 2/2.5? im not sure tho. and im using japanese cotton too, although ive run out so i will experiment when i get home tomorrow. that being said im not sure it doesn't seem too tight going through the wick holes, just seems like it wont wick fast enought up to the coil before the second hit. D:

Maybe the cotton roll is good when your dripping onto it but is a little slower at soaking up juice along its length, try a normal wick and see how it goes!?

I thought maybe you were using massive sized coils and that the wicks were constricting themselves through the juice holes but if your using the ones that came with it they look like maybe 2.5id i'm not certain, ive not used them

Fused Clapton's at .08ohm at 100w with Kendo vape cotton gold. Can drain a full tank of 80/20 in a few minutes with no dry hits. Just leave air pockets in the wick holes. The faster air escapes the well, the faster juice can transfer out of the well. Its all about the exchange.
