“Four years ago we produced a high quality genesis atomizer (The Line), which was available to the masses at rock bottom prices. The idea was to introduce as many vapers to the genesis way. We proudly continue to do so with the Line LE, a superior product brought to you directly from a modder at an unbelievable - near cost price point." ~Van

What is it?

Line LE is a 14mm “centre wicked” Genesis Atomizer, aimed primarily for Ego Styled batteries. However, as the performer it is - it can albeit be used on anything, be it a 22mm mod, regulated or mechanical, and shall deliver astoundingly! The Line LE is to Genesis what the kayfun Mini is to Silica ~ in the slim atty target segment.

Design, Material and Construction

It is worth mentioning that the Line LE is built very well. Touch it and you’d immediately feel its plush quality! The milling is superb and the finish is exquisite. Every edge is rounded smooth, the window cutouts wrap silkily over the plexi tank, it’s sub-sections (top cap over the deck, and base over the tank) join unhindered - and the threadings are full toned without any sharpness. You can easily feel the thought, dedication and deliberation gone into producing each unit.

66f884.jpg

Comes in two exterior finishes, (1)Mirror Polished and (2)Machined Brushed, the atty oozes quality and opulence in it’s manufacturing effect. The main body (the underbelly which holds the tank) is made of one block of stainless steel (unibody). Straight from the 510 threaded post to the top where the deck sits is one piece of metal. With only cutouts for the windows (qty-3). The air hole is laser drilled and is one of the most even orifices I have ever seen!

2db5n9c.jpg

The deck, tho minuscule, is pretty spacious and easy to work upon. The terminal screws are hefty and the wick hole is large (isolated). The Pos Pole penetrates into the tank and is firmly screwed into the base at one side, while a huge wick hole adorns the centre of the deck. Having no ledge on the deck attaching our negative leg is a breeze. And due to it’s size / dimensions the spacing between the terminals and the wick are bare minimum - thus gone are our "hot leg" woes!

6pyeyq.jpg

The engraving is subtle but eminent. Due to a Fibre Laser Cutting process the patterns are neat, sharp and well vectored. It is also of the right size, minimalist and placed appropriately. Together with a quality finish and having a decent mass the Line LE looks very smart - very haute couturé!

Yes we have heard the phrase “buttery smooth” many a times ~ thus without reiterating the same old adage let me assure you that the Line LE is put together well, sits on any mod well and is a classy package indeed.

295sbkj.jpg

What’s in the package?

2zp1qgz.jpg

The Line LE comes in a nice black suede pouch, with two extra plexiglass tanks. No spare bag is included since all the O-rings are generic and the Screws are all M2, which can be inexpensively purchased locally.

SETTING UP the LINE LE

A KSP (Key Selling Point) of the Line LE is also it’s "ease of rebuilding”. It is actually a novice’s Genny ~ and come whatever may it will wick well and chuck out the VTF by the nostrils (pun intended)! Just wrap a coil over the mesh wick, drop it into the wick hole, attach the coil legs in the terminals and bob’s your uncle! It is actually pretty fail safe!

There are tutorials aplenty over the net on setting up a Genny, I took the Petar K method as always. Here’s how I set it up it ~ Detailed step-by-step pictures of my Wick & Coil are >here in the next post<

A) PREPARE THE WICK

B) PREPARE THE COIL

C) UNIFY THE WICK & COIL

D) FILL THE TANK

E) VAPOR CHECK

The Vape Experience

There are certain KSPs of the Line LE (enumerated below) one of them being ~ it’s a Flavour Queen! Gennys are known for it, ya right! This one extrapolates that into a thousand times. And why not? With a 14mm body and that super reduced chamber - it produces some tasteful warm vapour indeed.

jhy101.jpg

2hi82tl.jpg

The pic above is me vaping the Line LE with an Ego type battery. So what the stock air hole is just 1.2mm, it yet produces tons of vapour - and the TH is right there where it should be for your nic level. And that’s with my first build of a 1.2Ω coil with the iTaste VV V3 cranked up all the way to it’s 11W limit.

2mmvkew.jpg

2kr9cj.jpg

And here I drop the coil resistance to 1Ω and maintain a steady 19W ~ the VTF is near similar (tho produces a tad more vapour) to my earlier build. The Line LE thus is a real performer! Sweet & Sexy!

2i6yp9s.jpg

Four KSPs of the Line LE:
1. Easy to Setup
2. Flavour at it’s best
3. Original and Affordable
4. It looks hot and so adorable!

4trc7b.jpg

Pros & Cons:

PROS: Besids the four KSPs above ~ (1)Ease of use, (2)Wicks very well (no additional tilting necessary), (3)Performs equally well with low-powered batteries as well as high-powered mods, (4)User replaceable parts, (5)Lifetime Warranty, (6)Realtime modder’s support (via email and a responsive forum), (7)Vapor Wall Discount (check with me if you aren’t a member) ~ And I repeat: (8)it is Gorgeous!

CONS: (1)The 510 mouthpiece of the Line LE is little narrow, thus all drip tips may not fit, (2) Not specific to this genny, as all compact atties would be, the top cap here gets fairly warm - tending to "hot" during continuous vaping, thus non-metal drip tips are preferable, (3)Plexiglass Tank, beware with tank cracking juices, (4)It could be a tight draw for few, b'coz of the 1.2mm air hole (could be drilled out easily tho) ~ And (5)The size, 14mm topper may not be for all.

10r0oyr.jpg

BOTTOMLINE:

Notwithstanding the dimensions - this genny means serious business! The centre wicking negates the requirement of aligning the air hole (the top cap is threaded anyway), which also makes it rock solid, as chances of mishaps due to a dislodged top cap isn't there. The wick hole is gigantic (3mm), make a hollow core mesh wick and there’s no way that it’d be underfed. I’m chain-vaping for days now and it has been keeping up perfectly. The unibody, together with some qualitative machining, a detailed finishing job and a simple but thoughtful design makes the Line LE a very elegant topper for our mods. It looks and feels better than many hi-end attys, minus a hi-end price tag! Yes, it is fairly inexpensive too!

I have been using Lines since 2011 when the first one came out. I have always been impressed with the Line.
This edition takes it to a new level. It is your description so well done that punctuates the Line Le advancements. :)
Thanks for doing this and sharing with us.

Thanks for the appreciation Sir :)

Thank you for the wick instructions, I have been using my old supply of Line V2 wicks which are too small in diameter so I will try your method.

Having previously used the Line V2/SS two main improvements with the LE for me are:
1) stainless steel connector that is part of the body (more resilient).
2) the coil can no longer come into contact with the PTFE insulator tubing (causing it to shrink/need replacing).

What type of mod is shown above your text "Yes we have heard the phrase buttery smooth"? It looks a good size match for the LE. I can't quite decipher the stylised text on the tube.

That's a Ba Gua (14500 mod, in 17mm), Sir.

I was the second person to sign up for the original Line coop. My Line arrived in a badly leaking state, so DelBoy had me send it back for repair. After a year of bimonthly correspondence about when I would get it back, he just stopped responding. I never did get it back. That really put a bad taste in my mouth for this Croatian crew, though I do still appreciate Van's work... from a distance. Seriously, those things were expensive to me at the time and to rip me off like that was extremely uncool. Obviously, I'm still a bit miffed. :p

I hear you, and that was sad. But I also don't understand how that sordid act could've happened thru a modding team who run a forum by themselves ~ and which has near every modder in the world as a member including many end users like us. Btw, I am sending this communication to DelBoy.

I appreciate that, qorax. I hate to assume the worst; it's not really in my nature. Maybe DelBoy was overwhelmed with other responsibilities and I just got lost in the noise. I like to believe that is the case and do miss some of the Vapor Wallians. I still stop in there at times, but never have the heart to participate anymore. :p

First Line was a co-op that run for almost 2 years , over 4000 Line V2 went out and around 10% come back for repair. That is almost 400 units. I worked on Line Repair alone and i could not follow PM-s and emails so we opened a thread on the Wall where Line co-op was going on and people posted in there when they sent their Lines back , last post that stand in that topic for months was "is there anyone else that did not receive their Line". For 2 months there was no response and we closed it. Deal was 3 months and we repaired them for almost 2 years. Made no money on it , lost a lot. What we do today has nothing to do with that co-op , one year ago we found a company and invested in production but before we did that we asked one more time is there anyone with any kind of problem from our co-ops , Line and Dog. Few people responded and we sent them new units free of charge and closed that chapter. Check out other co-ops from that time , it was a start of something new and everyone had some kind of problem. We where the only one who stayed and we tried our best to make everyone happy , everyone run away or just opened another co-op and forgot about people from the last one. QBass , i remember you of course , and if you say you did not get it you did not get it. Send me your info on vvapehouse@gmail.com and i will send you a new LE. BTW. what we do today has nothing to do with co-ops from the past , we now run a company , back then we worked from a basement. But i think we all had fun. Well , not all. :) Once again , sorry and please send a email with your info so we can put this behind us and have some more fun.

Fantastic, I mean it! That's the way a modding team should respond. Thank you for stopping by shpaolin and responding to the comment, we luv ya!
