Liquid changed color in 20 minutes

I filled a tank with some watermelon overload from alien Visions that is bright red. I went into a store and when I came out it was a light brown/goldish color, the red was completely gone. Is this common with colored juices? I assume it was from sitting in a hot car.

Hmm, if it was in the car and exposed to the sun that's probably what did it. I know that with time and use my RY4, which is normally light, will darken to an amber color. Doesn't affect the performance or taste. I've also had bourbon cloud over when resting in a glass that was left in direct light.

I vape a cotton candy that is light reddish in the bottle and when it's in the tank for a while it turns dark brown almost black,still taste great but definitely changes colors. don't know why.

Did you use a different juice without cleaning the coil (dry burn or brush)? Juice can turn color on it's own but gunk on the coil or deep in the wick under the coil can bleed into the fresh stuff.

The wicks were clean. It was probably the sunlight and the heat.

The question was about the coil. The rest was just FYI but since you mentioned it, I have one head that retains juice in the wick, under the coil, no matter how much I rinse it until I would dry burn.

I'm pretty sure I used a new protank head. I'm going to leave the bottle in the sun for 20 minutes and see what happens.

Was busy cooking on the grill and the sun went down, I'll do it tomorrow. The liquid in the protank has now turned orange, pretty weird. I've heard that some liquid will change color over time but not change from bright red to light brown to orange in a mater of hours lol

I vape a cherry limeade that I love that is bright pink/red in the bottle, and in the tank at first, but changes to a light reddish orange in the tank. I've yet to see it go brown, but I think I may empty the tank too fast to notice...
