Looking for some insight on something. I made some juice, 10% double ry4, 3% choc, strawberry n cream, french vanilla. The TH is sub par paired poor vapor performance is annoying. Now I made a 8% toasted almond, 5%choc, 2.5% french vanilla - Amazing TH, flavor, and vapor. Also made a plain 10% double ry4. Same performance as the almond juice. All 60/40 pg vg. All 14mg nic. What happened with my first juice? Too much flavor? I speed steeped all with hot water. Or maybe flavor clashing? I know it's trial and error, but give some insight vets! Thanks in advance.

What else did you put in there? ie . .vg, pg, water? Are all your juices the same nic strength? Those things will have more effect on vapor and th than the flavors.

btw - I sometimes slip up and put too much water. It doesn't vape well at first but gets much better with a few days to a week of steeping .. I guess some of the water evaporates.

Ok now that I can better read your post, I was at work earlier. My pg and vg does not have nic in it. I mix nic, vg, pg all separately, and like I already said all the flavors and nic are pg based. That should be calculate into Ejuicemeup. Maybe too much flavor for my taste buds. The plain jane 10% Double RY4 I mixed tasted perfect. So maybe trial and error is the only fix for this. Thanks for the response though.

sounds like the first juice is 20% flavoring, not a lot of room left for actual nic, sounds like a lot of fluffy sugars in there making it softer on the throat.

if im reading right your adding 14mg nic to the flavor? not mixing it all together to get 14 total at the end? if so your killing off the th by driving the nic down is what it sounds like.
and some juices just wont have a driving TH unless you jazz them up a bit with something like PGA.
on that first juice i would vape it a bit hotter on the voltage and see if that doesnt kick it up a bit.

I agree with the above post. (thrasher) If I'm reading correctly, there's more flavorings than the other 2 you posted. Most flavorings I've seen are PG based... So that usually means less VG in your mix, if you going on the same 60/40 mix as the others. Most people will agree that VG gives you the vapor production, while the PG enhances the flavor. So, maybe try using a smaller total flavoring % on the first one and see what happens.

Well I usually measure out my pg, put it in the bottle. Measure out my vg, put it in the bottle, then flavors the nic. Shake and vape(LOL). You may be seasoned at DIY, but I'm a newb so I've been using EJuiceMeUp for calculations. I was under the impression from the programs interface that it calculated in the base of flavors. So I'm confused as to how that would eat my VG up. Thank you very much for your responses!

Tonight I think I'm going to keep it simple and try a 100% VG recipe. I'm very curious how the flavoring goes with no PG. Especially since I feel like I am enjoying VG much more. I just don't want to completely annihilate my TH.
