I've never considered a need for a child-proof bottle.
But then I don't store my bleach nor reloading supplies where a child might encounter them either.

Thanks for the brilliant insight. I have no intentions of storing the nicotine in a place where it would be easily accessible. I'm new to DIY and just asked a simple question. A simple reply would have been sufficient.

Oh..Sorry to disappoint you; was your question because you can not operate a child proof package? (physical limitation/age etc). Perhaps I misinterpreted your intention and misunderstood the inquiry.

My "insight" was to demonstrate that chemicals far more dangerous and common place are not packaged to prevent "children" from opening/accessing them. (is the Grey Goose childproof or Windex or crazy glue or sun screen?)
Please do not allow Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt to steal your attentions.

Cheers

I see no reason why child resistance packaging should not be used. Though I store my stuff where the kiddo can't go mucking about with it, the costs associated with child resistant packaging are manageable for companies, and actually do provide a public health benefit.

Then again, statistically, Americans are far more likely to be shot by a toddler than be struck by lightning. Most gun owners are responsible, mature people, but some aren't.
