Well, I seemed to suffer no ill effects, though I think it was a bit over 3 years. The flavor was still good, the nic had darkened slightly, but that's pretty much about all I noticed... :)

Anna

No, no, mine are pure diluents--PG and VG, NO NIC.

If you consider those minor alkaloids as a flavoring, then you should consider nicotine a flavoring, as well. Besides, nothing is truly "flavorless." PG, VG, nic all have distinct flavors.
Nope. I didn't consider them as anything... you chose to desribe them (WTA's) as:
satisfying tobacco flavor.

I like the taste of VG, but I've never vaped unflavored. This thread is making me want to try it though, maybe with some WTA for nuttiness. Possibly. :)

I've bought from Aroma but also Mother's Milk. I vastly prefer Aroma (but not the prices). I always bought unflavored, but Aroma's HIGH (36 mg/ml nic) unflavored WTA seemed to have the slightest nutty flavor but it always disappeared when mixed with flavors. I imagine the same dilution would take place with unflavored, I'm certainly not prepared to use it in the quantities needed to preserve the "nuttiness" but it did taste that way to me... :)

All I have to say is thank God for unflavored juice. :D

Been vaping it for several years. Initially switched to unflavored after relentless nagging from the other half. No matter what I vaped it smelled like .... :grr:

Anyways, fast forward years later. The past few days, I've gone back to vaping flavored juice, my favorite three before I switched to unflavored. All three of them tasted exactly as I remembered them. Really enjoyed it at first. After several hours, it just got nasty. I honestly couldn't stand the taste/smell of it myself. Switched to another flavor, same thing after a few initial hours of bliss.

I used to be able to vape these same flavors as ADVs, for weeks on end without switching things up. Now, I would have to say this experience has reinforced for me that unflavored is exactly where I need to be. At least right now.

Have to admit I get a little jealous reading all of the comments here about folks enjoying this flavor, that flavor. I just can't seem to tolerate flavored juices any longer. Maybe after being away for it so long, it's just not for me.

Luckily, I get exactly what I need from unflavored. I've never tried WTA, I may order some and try adding a little bit of that, just to check it out. I've actually feeling a little nauseous. Just dumped my last tank of flavored about 30 mins ago, rewicked and back on the flavorless train. Maybe I'm getting a little nic sick from overindulging on my unflavored. Lol.

Not fulfilling if you just put a few drops of flavored in a tank of unflavored?

I am exactly the same, have been on unflavored for over a year now. My flavor weakness was vanilla especially Medicine flower vanilla. Now i can enjoy it for maybe 5 hits then i crave unflavored. Unflavored is so not the right description, the cleanest most complex flavor profile of them all to me.

In the past, I would sometimes buy my juice at 2x the desired nic level and dilute it to get it where I wanted it. Also used these at full flavoring levels too though. So perhaps the flavoring was just ovrrpowering to me after being away from it for so long.

Its possible the shop that mixed them for me is using higher flavoring levels than they used to as well. Ive been diy for a good while, but have been using unflavored long before I started mixing my own juice. So I've never mixed flavored diy. Very possible they upper the flavor levels.

I'll try diluting them down with VG/PG and see if there's a happy medium. I need a few day break though. I scrubbed and recoiled my tank and still swear I can taste it, lol. Maybe they just mixed them too strong. I'm sure I can di,ute them down to a more tolerable level, just feel like the flavors just didn't hit me right after so long w/o them. Weird

Oh yeah, unflavored definetly has a unique taste I have grown to enjoy. I usually shake and vape my mix and I actually think it's even better at 2 months when I'm getting to the end of a batch. Probably the nic oxidizing some. I may start mixing larger amounts/earlier so it has a bit of time to age before I get to it.

Oh yeah, the even better benefit to me is it vapes so darn clean.

If using drop in coils, I can usually get a month out of a coil. Usually have to discard it at that point only because the cotton no longer wicks well and it starts to leak. The coil itself is still usually ok.

With rebuilables, I no longer have to burn the coils and rewick all the time. I can easily get through 150-200ml of juice between coil cleaning. Easy to taste when it's time to clean as well since there isn't any flavor covering up the fact that you're vaping coil gunk either.
