This is my first DIY experience and I decided to order most of the flavors from Liquidbarn. I started "cooking" as soon as I received them but I have no idea what goes with what and things are not turning out too well. I even tried single ingredient mixing and two ingredients but it not tasting well. I know im supposed to steep for a week or so but it sounds like it should not make a bad taste better, just more emphasized. Does anyone have any suggesting or have recipes specifically to LiquidBarn flavors?

This is what I have to work with (and obviously PG/VG):

- Banana
- Blue Raspberry
- Cherry Blossom Tea
- Chocolate Roll
- Colo Freeze
- Dew Mountain
- Green Apple
- Honeydew
- Lava Coke
- Orange Banana
- Pacific COOier
- Peach
- Pineapple
- Pineapple Sherbet
- Pink Lemonade
- Rainbow Sherbet
- Sour
- Strawberry Cheesecake

Thanks!

Looks like you need some base flavors. Vanilla ice cream goes with everything. I like it with the Honeydew or the Rootbeer. I think I usually do the VIC at 8-10% and the HD or RB at around 7. I don't care for the Strawberry but I haven't worked with it much. The chocolate roll is kinda weird but I've made a couple decent mixes with it. Not a lot of people seem to use LB (I dig them though) so not a lot of recipes out there.

This was my 2nd try but V1 was just vic @10% and RB @7% or so and it was pretty good.

RB Float V2

Ingredient %
Bourbon (Vanilla Bourbon) (FA) 1.5
Rootbeer (LB) 5
Sweetener (LB) 1
Vanilla Ice Cream (LB) 8

Flavor total: 15.5%

Remember to rate it at ....................!
Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately I do not have the VIC to try this one specifically.

No problem man. I've not tried the other flavors you listed. I have Green Apple and Rainbow Sherbet but have not mixed them up yet. I have tried several others...

VIC
Rootbeer
Honeydew
Butterscotch Graham tobacco
Vanilla Cream tobacco
Cappuccino
Creme Brulee
Strawberry
Chocolate Roll

Have, but not used yet:

Green Apple
Belgian Waffle
Rainbow Sherbet
tobacco
Vienna Cream
Lava Cake

I didn't have much luck with their flavors and wasn't able to come up with anything vapable. Hopefully you'll have a better experience than I did. Expensive lesson for me personally.

Wow, really? Do you remember what flavors you tried? VIC, Honeydew and Rootbeer have been pretty solid for me. All my mixes with those have been decent, some pretty good...but all were vapable. But hey, I'm a n00b (only been mixing a month) and might just be stoked I came out with something that wasn't garbage. ;)

I'm not at all trying to discourage you. Even now when I buy flavorings I can only make good juice by following a recipe. I haven't been able to make something on my own yet. The flavors I got I don't even like now. I didn't really know my taste profile so just sort of went into it blind at the time.
