Liquids keep burning back of my throat...getting very frustrated now!

I first started with a Blu kit a month ago and have not had one complaint about the flavors or my experience with them.

I have since moved up because i started learning quickly about better products, etc...I've purchased The Volcano Magma kit and just the other day I picked up the Inferno kit as well (still waiting to receive that one in the mail.)

I vaped "cotton candy" from Volcano with the magma kit for 2 weeks without any issues.

Now all of a sudden this week, I have started vaping other flavors ("Blue water punch" from Volcano, "bubble gum" from vaporbomb, "rootbeer" from backwoods brew...etc...you get where I'm going with this and no matter what flavor I'm using my throat keeps getting burnt when using these juices...burning mean that you feel it just about to come on and you have to stop because you know it's going to burn you but even when you stop it's too late...it's still knocks you in the throat and hurts like hell!

I have opened up new atty's/tankomizers...primed them and everything...still same issue. I go back to Blu and have no problem...I don't understand why this is happening and have invested a lot of money in the past month on kits and juice.

I'm starting to get really bumbed now that only Blu is going to work for me, and I don't understand why.

BTW I'm waiting on new Blu batteries cause I flooded mine lol and I wanted to know if it was OK to use the Blu cartomizers with the Volcano Magma batteries until my Blu's come back in?

P.S. My juice has been 80PG/20VG (except for Blu...I'm not sure what they use in their cartomizers but whatever it is it's very smooth and just plain fantastic! I even tried vapin plain VG a minute ago and that burnt my throat as well. This is just really odd how all of a sudden this is happening out of nowhere...

Did another test a minute or so ago, I inhalled with my nose instead of my mouth lol which also gave me a burn feeling in my nose for a few seconds (had to pull out no pun intended lmao). So it's obviously not just throat related, is there something in these juices that are not sitting well with me or what? This is really weird now...

*BUMP* Hmm... Have you cleaned your atomizers? As in alcohol soak, dry burn, etc...? Many things could be happening. Do you drip? I remember my first atty was acting up and boy did it BURN. My atty wasn't wicking correctly with my cartridges. Dripping doesn't do that unless you're vaping it dry. Some people can be prone to problems with certain flavorings. I'm trying to think.

As always, drink lots of water.

Yea did you skip the part about me even opening up new attys lol, I have done everything. It's really weird...

Like I said it also does the same thing if I inhale the vape threw my nose (hey some people did that with cigarettes too So I know it's not a "throat problem" plus I was just scoped by my ENT for my 6 month checkup for my reflux.

I'm thinking maybe I'm alergic or something to either PG or VG? I dunno...yet the Blu cartomizers are awesome and I can't say enough about them!

I'm hoping I'm not confusing this with "throat hit?" If throat hit is suppose to be painful then that could be what is going on...not sure though.

Do you drip? New atomizers do have primer and they burn the hell outta my throat.

Yea but I prime the atty whether I drip, use tanks etc.

is the flavor off at all. If the coil isn't getting wet enough it may not taste burnt but still will hurt. If the flavor is a little off could be a sign of this. Have you tried using other juice in the blu. You should eliminate the device from the equation so you know you're dealing with a strictly juice issue. Are there different nic levels involved? Do some of the problem juice in the blu carto and get back to us.

Nah all my juice is 0MG.

I have not tried the Blu with the juices yet because my Blu batteries are being replaced.

But you know I've been hitting the tank tonight and I've noticed that it's not bothering me now...is it possible it bothers me earlier in the day because my throat is dry? I dunno...

When I prime the atty/tankomizer I follow Volcano's instructions (10 drops on the atty/wick-let it sit for 15 minutes-blow excess liquid out and then fill her up and go for it!) I realize there are 100 different other way to do it but I'm not trying to test each of those ways out either. I just want to use my devices!

No the VG wasn't as strong but it still bothered me.

Pick up some PG and/or VG at Walgreens. Its cheap enough just to test. PG would have to be special ordered through pharmacy. VG is on shelf (make sure it says USP). Vape this and see if it still stings. I suspect it won't. If it helps, you could cut the premade liquid with either too to see if brings the sting down. I had the same problem when I started and had an assortment of premade eliquids from a particular vendor. They all tasted great for one hit, but they all very quickly killed my throat. Cutting them down though didn't help much for me. Mixing my own with nic and flavor often times created mixes on the opposite end of the spectrum with no throat hit, with the odd exception of a particular mix/atty combination that would hit hard. DIY just might be the route you have to take to dial it in to your taste.

I got a sore throat the other day.

The new CE2-X tasted bad but I tried to vape it clean.

I found one coil wrap stayed dry and would glow.

If wick is not wicking completely it can burn my throat and affect the taste.

Dual coil is cleanest tasting device I've found.

Okay after you prime it and blow out the juice, how many drops do you put on your atty?

You can use the blu carto on other things. It does not have to be the same battery. I think the blu has a 510 thread so you can us it with any 510 bat. pop it on your volcano and try it with the problem juice.

If you are using a tank it makes me think even more you are getting dry hits. If you are using the magma it's 808 and won't work with the blu. If it is the volcano or inferno you can try it on them.
