Hi Wow,
As a new vaper, mine did somewhat dry out if I filled 4 or 5 carts at a time. I use both cartridges and cartomizers, and the only time I fill either and cap them is if I leave the house and don't want to take a bunch of extra baggage along with me -- like if I'm out and about for a few hours. I like all my juices as fresh as I can get them. Another thing is that I don't like it sitting in the plastic a long time absorbing all the plastic taste and chemicals from the plastics. Welcome to ECF. Happy vaping.

I've been filling extra carts for a long time now. I fill them and put them either in a zip lock or a very small tupeware type case that's air tight. Don't let them get real hot, like leaving in a car. I've pulled carts out after a month or so and they tasted fine. Just make sure they are kept in a air tight container. Hope this helps.

@WOW: It's not water, so it won't evaporate like you think. I'm not sure how fast it does, but you can try putting a couple of drops of VG/PG on a spoon and leaving it out.

I'm not a chemist, but it really depends on the chemical. Freezing or refrigerating flavorings can cause them to separate. Biological contamination will be inhibited somewhat by lower temperatures, but this is already next to impossible with pure PG even at room temperature. It might help VG last, but again pure glycerin is unlikely to allow any biological contamination if it's sealed. With nicotine, oxygen will react with a small percentage of it and cause it to turn brownish, but the effect on strength will be insignificant unless it isn't sealed. The best thing to do is keep all your stuff sealed, away from sunlight, at a stable temperature.

Not sure about ULTRA long storage, it hasn't really been tested, but as far as I know, all pharmaceutical products have a maximum life of 2 years, which would include nicotine. It probably isn't its true lifespan, though.

Thank-you....very much! :)

I haven't had mine long enough for them to discolor and don't take them exposed out in the sun or extreme temps or leave them open. Just want to keep that fresh taste as fresh as possible and wasn't sure.

:vapor:

(I'm not a chemist either but sounds smackin' good to me!)
