Bought 2 of these from Shawn and received them 10 days ago.

I've only been using one of them so far. Usually I have 10 different attys that I use for a multitude of different flavors and switch between them numerous times a day. I have been using this one LR atty for 10 days straight now and only switched to my other attys a couple of times. I've put a bunch of different flavors and types of liquid in it and it has performed great with all of them.

I drip exclusively and the first couple of days I tried this one out straight out of the box. Definitely could tell the difference from the standard 510 attys but since I have removed the wick and bridge from most of my attys it wasn't as big a difference as I was expecting. After two days of use I removed the wick and bridge from the LR atty too and wow. Huge difference. This is definitely what I have been missing in vaping. Much better hit and the taste of the liquids is still great.

I was kind of worried about these at first since I've seen other people talk about killing off the 1.5ohm attys quickly. But then again I have only killed one regular 510 atty in 5 months and a lot of people go through those quickly too. Either way this one has lived well through 10 days of heavy use now and still works as well as the first day.

I will definitely be switching over to these 1.7ohm LR attys from now on.

Thanks Shawn. :thumb:

Ok, I'm sold. Going to have to give the LR atties a try (as soon as my wallet recovers from the recent binge!)

Removing the wick and bridge has brought a couple of worthless atties back into use for me, too.

Yeah they're definitely worth it, to me anyways. I've been okay with vaping all along, and have kept from smoking, but switching to these attys has given me the closest to that good old real cig hit that I have had since starting to vape.

I was using just an occasional dry burn or highpings rinse/dryburn method for cleaning my regular attys and did find that cleaning them was even quicker and easier with the wick and bridge removed. I haven't needed to clean this LR one at all yet. Burns warm enough that it keeps itself pretty clean so far.

Yep, I've been using one Litecig LR for a little over two weeks now on my Mr. Puffer, and it just keeps going! I've certainly read my share on various forums about how these attys could go at any time, doa warranty only, etc., but these ones seem really durable, especially with high drain IMR 14500 batteries.

Yeah I'm up to 24 days now on this atty and it has been my most heavily used atty throughout that time. Still going just as strong as it was on day one.

I opened the second one that I ordered at the same time and haven't been using that one as much but have been using it for a week or so now with equal performance.

Bought a couple of 1.5ohm ones from elsewhere, just to compare, and have only tried one of them so far but it is definitely not giving the same satisfying quality of vape that these ones are.

Served me well for exactly 1 month before I foolishly dry burned it to change flavors, walked away to take care of a couple things, came back and sat down and took a drag and got a nice harsh burnt taste before realizing I had forgotten that I did the dry burn and hadn't re-dripped it yet. Bang killed it. :(

Still these are my favorite attys so far and at 1 month for $10 it was definitely worth it ;)

So I got 5 LR atty's from Jany because I am a huge eGo fan right.
I took out the bridge and wick from 1 and used it new, right out of the package.
I noticed that there was some wick around the new coil and i got my tweezers and pulled it a little and felt a metal crunch. . . . Bye bye atty. :( So I decided I have 1 orginal 510 atty that came with the set, 4 more new LR atty's, why not try one more?
So I modded 1 more LR atty and noticed again that there was a little wick poking out from the side of the coil, and I left it the f* alone. The vape I got from my modded LR atty was harsh and super hot and tasted funny. So I thought it was the factory juice they used so I put in some VG juice and decided to give it a go!
Well it burned the crap out of my throat and didnt taste good. I wanted to go ahread and just burn the rest out and took off my empy cart (i am a dripper) and hit the button to turn it on and burn out the factory/vg combo juice and blew a little air in there to see the burn, and poof! there goes the atty! :(
I could see that it go really hot and it burned the connection in the coil.
Now is the coil itself just wick wrapped in a wire going to the battery?
And if so, is that little wick that is like at end of the coil part of the coil itself?
Also, if you break the LR atty in with wick and brige normally, then to the mod, is that when it works best?
I have done the mod a few times and my frist atty is still going strong with the mod done. It's almost like using a non modded LR atty! It produces huge vape and it is really smooth and I can get a really good pull off it, but I want to know if I break it in with the bridge and wick on (lr atty) then do the mod, will the harsh taste go away?
I know I did this first with my orginal atty and it works like a pro now.

Unfortunately I'm far from being an expert on any of this stuff so I can't give a real technical answer to your question but maybe someone else will.

However I have done this to almost all of my 510 attys (and a couple of 306 attys) and have done it just as shown in Phees video and removed the bridge and any wicking material sticking up above the coil and had no problems with any of them yet.

You definitely don't want to dryburn an already dry atty, especially with the LR attys, because it will definitely kill it. That is the mistake I made with the one I have killed so far.

And yes I agree my initial impression of the LR atty, without the bridge removed, was that it was close to the same hit as I had been getting from a regular atty with the bridge removed.

I have never used this on the same brand of attys you mentioned and I do know that with the 3 different brands LR attys I have used so far I have gotten a different level of taste and performance from each and the ones that Shawn carries have been the best ones for my personal tastes.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you, I wanted to make sure I had done a few things different before posting my results. Thanks very much for your input on this!!! So I think that all the LR atty's I have are kinda their own little person with different types of vape. I modded a brand new LR atty without breaking it in first and I noticed I got a mostly harsh vape but intense flavor mostly like you get right when you fill a little to much when dripping on your initial hit, but it was like that on every hit. Then when it was going dry I got a massive hit with a horrid taste (no wick I remind you) and huge vape. I made sure I was not flooding it and made sure that there was nothing "extra" in the atty that would make it taste or burn any different. I cleaned it out and still the same issue. Then I broke one in and decided to try it again and it was a totally different experience! HUGE vape (a little to hot for my taste, but still good) and great flavor. I think that you need to get the factory "new" taste out lol and also just build up a little flavor in it. I really like the Janty 510 LR atty's but I wish they shipped with FedEx. Other than that, yeah the dry burn was my noob mistake. I let the coil get to hot and killed it. Well thats why I bought a good amount so I can experiment and get to know what I like and works for me. Thanks for your post!!! It gave me the extra kick to give it a try and I am really glad I did!

Glad you got it figured out and working for you M0dM4n.

------

So my second one of these attys lasted me 6 weeks. About 3 weeks of light use and then 3 of heavy use. And again I think I killed it by going a little overboard with the dry-burn. Did a dry-burn on it and it was firing fine then put it upside down overnight(as I always do) and the next morning it was just dead.

So far third one is performing with same consistent quality vape as the first 2.

So now I only have one question.....

When will us drippers be able to start buying these as bridgeless, wickless attys Shawn? :D
