Little click on the button press?

Another new problem just started (though, admittedly, it's nowhere near as severe as the first):

Every time I press the firing button, it clicks. Sometimes on the way down, sometimes on the way up.

I'm sure this is no big deal, but what is it? It's slightly annoying.

Also, can someone provide a link to either PFTE or teflon replacement buttons?

Sounds like one of the two:
1. Melted button will cause a clicking depending on the severity of it. An easy way to check the button is lock it all the way and look through the delrin cover, you'll see the area that usually pushes the firing pin.
2. Dirty firing pin. Sometimes if you over noalox and it reaches the back of the firing pin, it'll dry and make that clicking sound.

Mine clicks if I don't have the lock all the way off. You can feel it resist a little. Also, if you have ever collapsed a spring, you probably melted the bottom a little. The only time I did that it left a little ridge on the button, which filed off easily to return normal function.

I don't know if anyone makes Teflon buttons, but what you could do is buy a rod of teflon (I assume you can get it in rod), get it attached to a drill, and grind it down to size.

But then... How will I insert the little peg that locks it into place?

I wouldn't worry about new buttons when the new kits come out I dont see this being a problem . If it was I would make new buttons
