Little dissapointed

Well outside of my initial purchase. I ordered an additional KR808 manual battery and some 901 attys. I've read so much about how dripping enhances the flavor. So the battery and attys finally came in and I was stoked about trying to drip for the first time. Dripped a couple drops and puffed several times to burn off the primer. Then finally tried my first direct drip vape. The flavor seemed weaker. I will say the vapor was plentiful, but not much throat hit and not much flavor. I realized the juices weren't getting warm enough so I tried again, held the button for 2 seconds before the hit and still not very warm. I tried taking in an initial hit and exhaling while I took in the next one. This helped a little but still overall not very strong flavor. Is there anything I can do? Would a LR atty be better suited?

I've never had that experience when dripping but I do use a LR atty on my 3.7v units and standard ones (both in 510 and 901) on my buzz at higher voltages and on my ST.

For a KR808, you might want to try a cartomizer? I dunno

Could even be the juice. There are some that I've had that were weak to me as well. Otherwise, I've never used a KR808 or 901 attys. I'm sure someone will chip in on those though.

I've only been vaping for a week so take my advice for what it is, but flavor is hugely dependent on the juice even on the same equipment in my experience. Some juice has zero flavor, VB's cinnabomb tastes just like you have a few pieces of big red gum chewing between your teeth

I've never direct dripped with a cartomizer before.. I didn't know you could! Did you take the batting out? Or do you mean that you refilled your cartomizer?

'm not dripping with a cartomizer (although there are threads here that explain how you can). I bought 901 atomizers for the purpose of dripping since it fits kr808 batteries.

I have dripped with a 901 - the 901s run a lot cooler than my normal 510s so I can see how the vapor might be less warm, but Ive not found it to be weaker at all. I do use them on the lighter flavors though, in fact that was my sole reason for buying one, because the 510 can blast the lighter flavors into oblivion. I find the stronger flavors like coffee, tobacco, chocolate etc tend to do better in the 510.
It might be the battery not giving it enough oomph - I run my 901 on a 510 PT - I use an adapter btw - and if I chain vape on it I can get even a 901 nice n toasty lol. 510s get crazy hot (which doesnt hurt them in the slightest but can be fairly painful on bare skin lol) and even volcanic on the higher voltage mods.
Im afraid I dont know much about the KR8 battery though so I cant compare it to the 510 battery output.

Thanks Guys. For now I'll have to try the 901s out on my passthrough tomorrow on my way to work and later on get some LR's. CptJay, the 808's are a true 3.7. I wouldn't know from my limited experience I just read it in DonDaBooms guide to vaping.
