I've Been vaping for 30 Days now, NO ANALOGS at All!

The last couple of days I've been feeling a little Freaky. I'm not prone to
Panic Attack feelings, unless I feel Palpitations in my chest. (Usually brought on by too much Caffeine). I stopped drinking Coffee a year ago. I still drink Diet Coke though. I've had a super sensitive Awareness to my own Heartbeat, and super sensitive Hearing in the last 2 days. Every little sounds makes me jumpy. Having trouble staying asleep as well. Sweaty Palms & Jittery.
I wonder if my dose of 24mg is Too High...............

Like I said, I'm 30 days in...I've tried VG, but for some reason it coats my throat and I'm always trying to clear it.

I Know, I should go see the Doctor, which I will, since I take BP Meds.
But what can I try now to stop this NERVOUS feeling running through my blood?

Sounds like you're simply vaping too high a liquid.

I get this from new customers frequently. Unlike buying a pack of smokes, a higher mg of nicotine DOES NOT equate to a "stronger" flavor. It's a common misnomer. A low cartridge or liquid strength won't taste any differently (in most cases) but it will make you light headed (if too strong) or vape more than you normally would (if too low)

Think of it like coffee. You don't taste the caffeine. You DO feel the results, however, if you drink regular when you're used to decaf. Choose your strength based on the nicotine intake your body is used to getting - not the flavor strength of the analog brand you're used to smoking.

Another tip is to remember that an e-cig doesn't get any smaller. It's like a buffet where the waitress keeps refilling your plate for every spoonfull you eat. Since an e-cig is always the length of an analog, you tend to vape longer than you would if you were smoking an analog cigarette.

New users tend to "overvape" and this leads to dry mouth, sore throat and dizziness. Usually the novelty wears off in a few days and you return to your normal "smoking" habits, but being aware of this fact may help you adjust sooner.

Thanks everyone...

I'm having a heck of a time falling asleep as well. I start to drift, then BAM! Jolt of lightning...then of course that makes me paranoid :) I really wish I had some lower than 18mg dosage to try. I made it 25 days or so on the 24mg stuff with only the occasional headache & sweaty palms, but for a few days I've just felt Dizzy & NERVOUS!

Hey Monkeyarms, I would not worry too much about it. I also had strange feelings about 30 days into it as well. I did not feel like I was having a panic attack, but I felt really edgy. Just about anything and everything made me mad and ...... off. After another week or so of vaping I got over it and everything is fine now.I'm not sure if it was some kind of withdrawal from analogs, or something else, but it's gone now so I really don't care.

I have also learned to use a lower nic level in the evening. That way I can get to sleep easier. Now I am using 24 mg during the day and 8 mg in the evening. This way I can get all the nic I need in the daytime. It seems like I need a high dose during the day. I ordered some Sleepy time tea flavor lung juice from nhaler. That stuff is great for the evening. Give that a try and stick to your regular dose during the day. Here is a link to the sleepy time. 30ML Lung Juice - Plastic Dropper Bottles - NHaler

Honestly, I think you should just see a doctor and ask him / her for an opinion. I asked my doc what MG juice i should use....oddly enough i got great feedback for making the switch. But for my 2 cents.....Have you considered using non nic juice and just tossing in the nic when you are having a bad craving? Or perhaps start at 8mg and work your way up to a happy spot instead of being at 24 and working your way down. Less is better when you are vaporizing poison into your lungs i would imagine.

I had similar issues, I wasn't panicky but felt stir-crazy and edgy after about a month. I made a concious effort to vape less and I cut some of my liquids with some VG I got off amazon. I think at 30 days I had just become more proficient at vaping and was getting too much nic because I'd gotten so much better at topping off and getting the draw strength and inhalation down pat by then.

first of all go to the nicotine part of this forum ... read up.... i doubt its to much nicotine level 24mg .... after you read through some of the posts... like the person who had blood work done.

i would bet money that it is either withdrawl from as much nicotine, or ( and this is where i would out my money) ........

you changed your life style, you quit analogs, the BP meds you take were givin to you when you were smoking analogs correct?! i also have read on this forum another user was having problems and it was because their BP meds were to much after he quit.

I started with 24 and 18 mg and it was too high. I used food quality vegetable glycerin I bought from a health food store to dilute it. I diluted it by half to get about 12 mg strength.

The edgy, stir crazy feeling could also be withdrawals from cigarettes. There are some posts in the forum about MAOIs inhibitors being in cigarettes, which act as an anti depressant. Explains why Wellbutrin, an anti depressant, helps people quit smoking.

I went through some weird feelings also about two weeks off the cigarettes. I would describe it as antsy and bored. Has been about a month now for me also and I am feeling better. The nicotine also raised my blood pressure at first, but I normally have very low blood pressure, so it was not a problem. That did clear up also after I reduced the nicotine level.

If you have blood pressure problems/medication I would agree with the rest of the folks here that you should also check with your doctor.

I think it could be either too much or not enough. Withdrawal can also cause these symtoms. Too much nicotine can cause these but I usually get a headache and have nausea and stomach cramps from too much nicotine.

First thing I would see the doc as changing to vaping may have lowered your bp. Panic and anxiety sound like withdrawal to me. It is a fact that we are absorbing less nic while vaping, this can be fixed by using some snus or just by riding it out. I cant believe how much better I feel since adding a little snus to using ecig. And of course you could try lower nic ejuice but it doesn't sound like nic od to me but i'm not a doc.
