I've been vaping 0 nic cause, well, I went back into vaping after quitting smoking so I wanted to stay off the nic.
So here's the problem...While I like the flavors I'm using, the TH is non-existent. I've tried PGA, but the TH is more of a burn for my throat and it makes me feel odd. I've tried adjusting this in different amounts and it's just not working out.
I need TH, so I'm thinking about adding a tiny bit of nic to my liquids...just enough to add some TH.
I'm thinking 4-6mg ought to do the trick without getting me so hooked on nic again that I can't stop.

Anyhoo, any thoughts or advice on this?

I'm willing to bet that any nicotine levels above 0 will quickly result in a nicotine addiction again. Having said that though nicotine IN-AND-OF-ITSELF really isnt all that bad on the body, unless you have high blood pressure or you've had microsurgery to reattach a body part and the tissues need to revascularize (tiny capillaries have to grow back into the tissue - don't ask how I know this). I've heard its on the same level as caffeine.

Nicotine is a vaso-constrictor - which means it makes your blood vessels constrict and reduce blood flow - however according to a study I read on smokers; after you've been a nicotine addict for a while the vaso-constriction isnt nearly as pronounced (about half) as when you started on nicotine.

I have also read good things regarding Diablo Loco from Totally Wicked. It's made from some sort of hot peppers, I think, and it is supposed to produce MONSTER throat hit. They also have Diablo Poco, which is along the same lines but much milder. I would imagine this would be more "burn-y" though, like the way you described PGA. I'll be following this thread closely, as I am in the same predicament.
I quit smoking a year and a half ago, and just recently took up vaping. I have found that I can switch back and forth between 0 nic and around 16mg without noticing too much of an effect as far as irritability and the like. I get the feeling a lot of the addiction is from the other crap Big Tobacco puts in their stuff, and since you are fulfilling the psychological addiction (putting something in your mouth, inhaling, blowing out "smoke"), the physical addiction is less pronounced. I can go many days without any nic, and many days with.
All this notwithstanding, it could be some people's personality or physicality lend less to chemical addiction than others.

TH is a huge part of the experience for former smokers. Try any (safe) way you can to add it, but shy away from the nicotine. However minimal the health risks, there's no need to re-addict yourself if you can avoid it, and I'd wager that any level of nicotine will do exactly that.

I'm keeping my eye on this thread, too, as I suspect a heavier throat hit will help me move down quickly to lower nicotine levels.

Thanks for asking what I should have asked. ;-)

cinnamon, mints, chilis, some fruits, there are quite a few juices that will give a good TH. I gave a friend an apple 0 nic juice with 35% Lorann's apple and the rest PG and he said it was harsh and had me add a little VG in it to tame it, I tried it before the VG addition and it was indeed a pretty damn good TH. Also adding a few dropps of PGA or Vodka can spice up the mix.
