Seems the places around the Charleston area are a buck or two higher for tanks and such, but the hardware (batts/mods) is interesting. The cheap hardware is insanely marked up, while the expensive stuff seems to be close to the market price. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where they make their money...

Have you been to the new place over by Walmart on Dorchester that sells MyStart juice? $6.50/10ml doesn't seem too bad, didn't look at component prices tho since I'd just gotten in my Kanger evod kit.

I have found some local shops are cheaper on certain things the online, pro tank2 17.00 mini 12.00 ,evic 75.00 but the juice is more expensive average about 15.00 for 30 ml. I bought a MVP for 39.00 local which is cheaper than most online prices. We have shops on every corner now, some are cheap on certain things and expensive on others.

In my town the MVP v1 is $70 you can't buy the mvp2 locally yet juice runs on average of $13 bucks for 15mls and some are around $6 for 10ml the one that is just drives me nuts is the vamo 3 kit for around $150 to $170 when you can get the same kit for around $50 to $60 after shipping you could order a provari for the price of that thing I wonder how much they would charge for that if it was sold local could probably buy an Xbox one lol

One of my local shops tried to sell me a King mod clone yesterday for $75.00. The guy told me it wasn't a clone, but I know it was because it didn't say "made in the USA" on the firing button and that price for the real thing would be rediculuosly cheap. I just said no thanks and left. I bought the same clone on eBay for $36.00 later in the day...

I have a local B&M that actually sells at a very reasonable price. The owner is an avid vaper as well and he knows what he is selling and what the internet sells for. He knows that if he prices himself out of the market, he will go out of business. I go in at least once a week and it is ALWAYS packed. They even have a number call system because it gets so crowded. This can be a pain but it actually lets you see how large the market is becoming and how successful it is. There are three shops that are within a mile radius and they also keep each other in check as well. If you find something in one shop that is cheaper than the other then they make it good. I am sorry for the people out there that don't have this option. They are kinda stuck. It is also bad for the ones that want to get into it for the reason of quitting smoking and don't have the funds. They walk away because it is an investment they don't want to make if it doesn't work. If I had to pay those prices in the beginning, I probably would have walked too. I hope this gets better with time and the shop owners get on board and work towards solidifying their future instead of pricing themselves out of one!

VaporTechUSA........ on line and supposedly B&M:

Kanger evod clearomizer 1.7 mil $14.99 <----------------- Huh? Crazy.

EGo T Blister Pack Starter Kit $39.99 <------------------- Worse Yet.

MY local B&M: I frequent them to help keep the going. Sometimes - I "need it now" and the conversation is worth the extra cost.

Kanger evod -- $9.95

EGo-C 650 and T3S or EVOD -- $24.99 --- Genuine and fairly priced I believe.

My brother in law just bought 4 evods for $16 a piece in town here and brought them over to show me I looked at his and looked at mine and all of his only have 2 holes directly opposite of each other his are a millimeter or two taller then mine mine has 3 holes and says kangertech evod on the base while his don't and I paid under 7 bucks online (same place that sells the vamo 3 kit for $160) from what I said about the 4 that he bought do they seem like clones to you it wouldn't surprise me almost everything sold in this town are clones for more then genuine

I am lucky. Our local shop sells everything for the same as their internet price.
protank $20.00
evod 6.00
ejuice 3.00 10 mls

Those are good prices. In Idaho I paid $46 for a kit with: 2 eGo batteries, 2 cartomizers, usb charger with wall charger, in a case.
eLiquid is about $7 for 15 mL.

In Utah, I found a shop that has similar prices on the gear but eLiquid is only $5 for 10 mL.
Most of them sell the replacement heads (coils?) for $1.50 each and the tanks are generally about $5.
One shop sells the liquid for about $7 for 10 mL but offers $5 refills. Unfortunately I don't care for their flavors.
2 of the 3 local shops I've been to have loyalty cards (buy 9 juices and get the 10th for free)
Lots of competition around here, I like it :)

Two local B&M's in my town. One carries some "off" brand starter stuff (ego stick/vivi nova style stuff) at crazy $$$$ prices (like $80-$100 for a starter kit) and high end "boutique" mech mods ($200+). Nothing intermediate (no VV/VW, or tanks, cartos, etc.) for sale. Juice looks suspiciously like a wholesaler I saw online somewhere, but they charge $1/ml type prices.

Other one has a much better and broad selection of the usual stuff (authentic Kanger, Joyetech, SMOK, and Innokin PV's and APV's, and HCigar and Ehpro clone mechs) and a little of everything in between. Starter kits are customer choice of ego style batteries, topper(s) of choice, case, charger, juice from $50-$80. Not horrible. Stuff is probably 10-20% more than online prices, but it's acceptable to me, since they're a small mom&pop just trying to make a living selling a product they believe in, not price gouging.
