We recently had my sister's wedding shower at a local restaurant. I vaped my face off after the most delicious chicken french. The one server that was attending all 30 some people (she was fantastic) did a double take, until I held up my Volt X2 with clearomizer then mimed holding a cig to my lips and shook my head. She smiled, and gave me a thumbs up.

As we were packing up gifts and clearing out, the owner/chef of the day came up and asked me about it. Turns out he'd seen them on TV but had never seen one up close. I pulled my kit out of my purse and let him try some Butterscotch Bon Bon on one of my 78mm batteries. He was blown away and said maybe all the servers should carry those for when they're too busy to get break times. I set him up with a few business cards. :)

that's awesome!
when i had a brief stint in a restaurant i started moving on from 1-2 cigarettes a day to smoking a little more frequently. i would ask to go to the washroom, was denied. then i would then ask for a smoke break, somehow that was ok? i dunno.
that's a common symptom for a lot of people who work in restaurants. so hopefully someone picks up vaping there. even if for just at work.

How can you be denied a bathroom break?! Isn't that illegal where you live?

If she's in the US then yeah it's illegal to deny access to the bathroom, but in restaurants with the go go pace and heat/stress in the kitchen most people that work in that industry smoke quite a bit to cope. And I know it's not uncommon to work in a restaurant for a 14hr day with no break if you're on salary pay.
