As I browse the internet, I find that my local vape shop is apparently soaking me. I find even with shipping, things are cheaper on the net. Has anyone had experience with the China based vendors that sell in bulk. I just paid $9 for one iclear 16 dc but can buy a bulk pack (10) for $32 from China....free shipping. Any thoughts?

I cant comment on buying from China as I haven't yet. One thing you have to think about is the local vape shop (B&M) has overhead like building rent, lights, and wages and such. With the vendors in china, as far as I know everything has to get here on a boat that has to come thru customs and takes forever, and that's not saying anything about the quality of what you might get from china.

You don't have to go to China to get better prices. Choose good online e-cig vendors--you'll support local economy, get fast shipping and probably better customer service. Although I have to say that Fasttech is not a bad place to shop. ;)

I like to support my local B&Ms, but some are really way too expensive. But I often visit to see what's going on on the vaping scene. We have a few very good e-cig stores her in SoCal. I usually end up buying a small bottle of juice or a drip tip...

Buyers market.

B&M shop $9 for an iClear16

Internet shop $5-$7?

From China $3.05 (less than what you quoted...) :)

If you need 10 iClears, then I'd buy direct and wait weeks and weeks. In the meantime, I'd buy 2 or 3 from a shop (either) and consider the rest as "on the way".

However, you don't need more than a few - do you? They have replaceable atomizers, so are not disposable in the 'old' sense of the word.

I used to support local shops, but here lately they have gone downhill. At one shop one of the guys working told me that the DNA40 board can set temp control with Kanthal, you just have to find it in the settings...Then proceeded to provide TERRIBLE advice to another customer about mechanical mods. This is happening more and more.

hardware, i got them from FT. their customer service is rather nice. so far they haven't said no to anything. only issue is they are really slow in shipping things out and it takes forever to get here. but i'm not in any hurry.

liquid, i have being getting them from local B&M, but i think i'll change that soon. i would like to support local business as much as possible also, but when they don't have things in stock it's waste of gas and my money to go there.

I tend to buy juice and accessories (charger, 18650s, etc) at one of two local B&Ms. Both are reputable; neither employs folks who make s--- up. Probably I could save a few dollars by purchasing online, but I want them to succeed, and I like having a place to go and chat about vaping. Not meaning to sound at all self-righteous; I just really like the in-person experience!
