I was under the impression that this starter kit was going to come with 2 empty cartomizers but it didn't. Now I got 6 different juices I can't use. I'm over here trying to google search a store but are there such things as vape stores or would I find it at a store that just has a section for vaporizers?

Once you've used the cartos, you can refill them. Mostly, cartos are just cartos with some paper and a mouthpiece of some sort on them. You will need to order more supplies though. And a clearomiser or two. And some tanks. And some bigger batteries.

Google filling cartomisers, and find a good online store. It works out cheaper and you have a larger range to choose from.

Welcome to the wonderful world of vaping and giving up cigarettes!

I take it you have Halo G6?

I don't know much about Halo (we don't have them, or if we do, I haven't had the pleasure....) but presumably you can buy "blank" empty cartomisers from almost any online vendor that would fit and you can fill with your own liquid.

Yea I just got it today. I would prefer a local shop so I'm not wasting money on shipping carts every week. I had no idea they were that expensive and didn't last very long. Although I am only a pack and a half a week smoker

I got prefilled ones from Halo but the website says the carts are $8 each. How long until I can no longer keep refilling that one cartomizer?
You can continue to refill cartomizers for as long as they vape well, make vapor, and taste good. A carto nearing its end will have poor taste, begin to taste burnt, or have a very heavy draw.

Smoktek is a Florida online vendor. Being so close perhaps the shipping will be faster. SmokTek Cartomizers - Boge single-coil and SmokTech standard or low resistance XXXL Dual-Coils!

Do you know the thread type of your battery device? You would need to get cartomizers of that thread type to work.

If you don't burn them at all by running them too dry, then you might be able to fill them 5 or 6 times. If you burn them you may never get rid of the nasty taste. It can really spoil your vaping experience.

After you've put about 5 or 6 ml through the cartomiser you will find the draw gets harder and the vapor production drops off. This is a good indication that the coil has hard deposits on it from the juice. It actually depends on the juice - you get less deposits from a light juice, and more deposits from a dark heavy juice. If you bought a dark caramel capuccino flavour for example, your carto might be pooched after only one ml.

Boiling the cartomisers can remove the old flavour, but it will not remove the deposit from the coil, and because of the filler material you need to leave it a day or two in a warm place to dry out.

Clearomisers are much better in this regard. You can wash them out and the coil heads dry quicker, and many of them have replaceable heads that you can buy relatively cheaply. These heads can also be 'dry burned' which will remove most of the deposit on them and return them to new performance. It's not unusual to get a month or more out of a good coil head that gets occasional use on rotation.

You should never dry burn a cartomisers as it will burn the filler material and taste pretty bad in the long run.

You should google all of this information. There's a ton of stuff out there. I don't know what system your battery runs, but have a look at CE5 clearomisers and expecially the Vivi Nova.

Of course you can stick with the cartomisers if you wish, but as a previously heavy smoker, I found the cost and the constant fiddling a pain. By week two I had bought two CE5 clearos and a couple of replacement heads for them and they vastly improved my quality of life.

KR808D-1? I'm new to all this so I could be wrong but that's what I found in the forums

So when I look for cartomizers I should make sure it says 808?

Yes, absolutely. If you do find a B&M near you do see if they have one of those 808 to 510 battery thread converters though - it will let you use a very wide range of 510 devices as well.

How's your search for a B&M going, or are you going to order online?

12 posts in and only one person even really answered the question.

I don't know how up to date this list is, but most seem to have hyperlinks to websites, so find something that's down there and see what you can get.

State of Florida

Thank you! List shows about 5 or 6 shops in my area. Still not sure as to what kind of cartos I'm supposed to be looking for. All I see is 510, 901, 801

Once you go into a brick and mortar store with what you have, they should be able to help you figure out what you need.
