Well, as some of you know I am a new member and a new vapor. Well, I have still been smoking analogs here and there to slowly transition over to straight vaping. Well, earlier I was completely dumbfounded as to where all my lighters went. Well I found one that just happened to be hidden away under my bed. But I was still puzzled as to where my zippo had gone. I have had that thing for quite some time and I was slightly agitated and not being able to find it.

Alas, I found it. Fate it seems was trying to completely wash away any sign of me needing to smoke again. Sure enough there it was sitting at the bottom of my washer after I did some laundry. Weirdest thing about it, is I checked all my pockets before throwing the clothes in.

Found this to be a semi amusing story and decided to share it.

It is strange how your lighters just sorta find new homes when you switch over. I used to have dozens of them all over the place and now I only have one in the kitchen drawer for lighting candles on the counter! Congrats to you!

i've misplaced several lighters since i made the switch...however, my zippo having been a close and trusted companion for almost 9 years still stays close. it started chrome, now is mostly brass. it's dented, scratched, and the lid's kinda loose, but it's perfect.

My husband went to light the grill for dinner last night and asked me for my lighter. I couldn't find one! We ended up using a piece of newspaper lit off our gas stove and carefully taking it outside. I'm going to have to buy some just so we can eat!

Lol, well, I let my zippo dry overnight and it works fine again...But as to the rest of my lighters only one seems to be around besides the zippo all well. As reddeath said my zippo will be the only lighter I plan on keeping.
