A removable battery allows you to goes as large as a 26650 or even a dual 26650 set up in parallel for the longest time between charges, no one is currently using a fixed battery system that has anywhere near that kind of time between needed charging. That being said both my Hana Mini and Vaporshark DNA30 will run 12 hours with my somewhat heavy vaping habit even at moderate wattage settings (11-14 average).

Just looking for something that maybe could be taken away camping for a few days without taking loads of spares. So would it be a box mod with built in battery or home mod with dual 18650s or huge 26650 or just hook it up to the car battery every night lol.

Ah, I see.

Does your battery charger have a car charging cord adaptor? Although, I have never used it in this manner, my Xtar VP4 has the said cord. You could charge up any batteries in a pinch via your car while camping.

Longevity will depend on your vaping style. The MVP2 lasts quite some time but would required charging if you're out camping for 2-3 days. With external batteries you can easily carry more fully charged batteries in a case.....how many will depend on your vaping style and the length of time you plan to be out camping. I personally would take both my MPV2 and my Provari or mechs with extra batteries. Between all of them I'm sure I could make it 3-4 days without worrying about a charge. Of course I have a lot of batteries for backup.
