First of all, this marks my 18th day analog free after 20 years and while I am sure I could post this in some other area of the forums, I consider you guys my ECF home.
I'm still a baby at this quitting thing and as such, I realize I am vulnerable to wacky analog cravings at strange times.
Tomorrow the fam and I are going on a 12 hour road trip. I just spent an hour refilling cartos to last me throughout the week I am gone. I am pretty sure I have enough *crosses fingers* but this prospect of a road trip I KNOW is going to give me some beastly analog cravings.
Please send me some positive thoughts/prayers tomorrow to keep them at bay. I will be doing my part and have my passthrough car adapter ready and waiting! It never hurts to have some moral support though.
Toodles for now, have a great week everybody!:vapor:

I'm with everyone else...you will be just fine....I myself was worried 3 weekends ago....my grandmother had passed and we had a 12 hr roadtrip to Georgia for the funeral.....in a car with a smoker (my mom)...and in a hotel smoking room...with my mom.....and quite a few family member who smoke (and I had only been completely analog free for a week)....I pulled out my pv everytime my mom cracked her window to smoke.....bingo....no craving....the rest of the family....oh I wanted one as my cousin smokes the same brand I used to smoke.....so...back to the room to get a MUCH stronger flavor.....it soooo helped......

You can do this! Vape away hon....vape away:)

Oh...and if you really want one....close your eyes and picture a burning ciggy....then open them up and look at your pretty pv and ask..."which do I really want to put in my mouth?"

Edit:If you are not driving....sleep...the time will go faster and you wont even think about the ciggy:)

I had a 3 day trip to indy with 4 non-smokers last week... I packed batts, juice and carts...

I loved the fact that when we stopped, I could vape to my hearts desire and get back in the car, not making them wait for me to finish an analog and not listen to them .....ing because I smelled like smoke.

It was different, to be sure, but I felt as if I had a monkey off my back for the first time in many many years...

The very best part, IMHO, is that I can vape and put it in my pocket... and NOT be married to a burning stick that I couldn't bring myself to stomp out only after a few puffs...

And really, what's the real difference between having to be supplied with analogs or with juice and batts? Both take planning and one is just way better

Ms. Nancy my wife never smoked, she despises cigs..... This was the first time on a road trip I was able to get my nic fix without her being ...... or me feeling guilty... It's been great. We have no kids yet, but or baby was riding in the back seat and she has no issues with me vaping around him. So far Loki has loved the beach, not the ocean, but the people and the sand he enjoys. Has an issue with the hotel though, the floor in the main room is tile... He hates tile.... And he misses his anti social buddy Smeagol... :)

One more thing. This has happened to me, make sure you have extra fuses somewhere for your cig lighter in car. I know mine blew when I was trying to charge my mp3 player. Maybe it was time for it to go, but it would suck for you if you have no way to power your PT.

Extra fuses are a great idea, Animeguy! The things have a way of going out miles from the nearest auto parts store.
