I've been following e-cigarettes for a little over two years now. I got started by wishing that I could smoke anywhere. I began to imagine devices that contained cigarettes but that contained or filtered second-hand smoke. At one point I just asked Google about an "electronic cigarette." It bombarded me with sites featuring high-priced e-cigarettes very similar in appearance to real cigarettes, though I'm thankful I held off. I admit that I was awed. Each new page explaining the technology increased my fascination. I had been going back and forth for two years, doing my research. This forum first led me to puresmoker, and I've monitored its products this whole time. Finally, I decided to order my first e-cigarette (I don't like to say "e-cig". I appreciate its wide acceptance in the community, but it sounds to me like something out of a bad sci-fi. Similarly, I've abhorred the term "vape" since it's inception, though I appreciate it more than I would have "atomize"). Last Monday I ordered a Prodigy from puresmoker with corresponding supplies, and a usb from vaporkings. I had to tinker a little with it, by taking apart the switch and using the sandpaper and that conductive grease. However, I now like it very much. I haven't smoked a cigarette since it arrived. I already feel better physically, and this forum seems to provide the related mental stimulation. I hope to be more involved soon.
