i'm using an atty and a cart but i'm sick of the wool padding getting caught up in the atty and having to refill every 3 or 4 drags, i've tried cartomisers but kept getting juice in my mouth or flooding them, i've also tried a blue fish tank filter mod on my cart but found it just flooded my atty. im wondering if its just me or are these common problems. i was thinking of trying a clearomizer or going for some kind of box mod.

Hi and welcome! I have many mods (infinity, sabor touch, reo, foxy box mod) and egos. A box mod is a great place to start! Try putting foxy box mod into the search engine here and they will pop up for you. Godzilla makes them and his prices start at $19 and that is a very fair price. Not sure what shipping would be. Its a great little mod! Good luck on your mod hunt! :)

A good lr carto will save you from the cart and filler drama. :)

between here and there
Cartomizers are an easy fix....if juice is coming out the end of the cartomizers, just hold a tissue at the battery end of the cartomizer and blow gently through....also allow enough time for the polyfil to absorb the juice....if the cartomizer is new, I fill with around 30 drops or so(when it looks like a slushy) and allow it to set around 10 minutes or so.......gently blow holding a tissue and then put it on the battery and vape....give it a try.
Clearomizers are good for vapor and taste but definetly have a learning curve to them....The trick to them is to make sure the wicking is not pinched too much cutting of the flow of juice....if it is pinched too much it will have a horrible burnt taste to the juice.....
box mods are good too. They have all kinds of sizes, so you can have a hugh selection......
hope some of this helps.

I personally love boge 2.0 and dual coil cartomizers on my riva. Never had a leaking problem by filling them @ an angle over a paper towel, when I see a drop get on the paper towel, I blow through the cartomizer (mouth on mouth side of carto) spraying a bit of juice on the paper towel, I then dry the bottom of the carto and its good to go. As for upgrades, I'm waiting on the release of the Infinity Pro from notcigs, should be released in 3 weeks or so. Its a tube mod though, not a box.
