My boyfriend started vaping 2 months ago and I took the plunge about a month ago.
We both started on the ego-t using clearomizers and we recently upgraded to the variable kind and took the plunge into using carto-tanks. (I actually convinced him to get me an Evolution Bella tank)

For those of you using clearomizers, I can tell you that your e-liquid will taste MUCH better using the cartos.

I just ordered a VAMO 2 (its actually sitting at the Post Office as I type this)

I wondered how many of you thought you would like the tobacco flavors, but actually found out you dont like them at all...

Yea, I found I cant vape tobacco flavors straight. I mix it about half and half with Crankberry e-liuid. I also found that the flavors I originally liked when I first started vaping dont taste as good now. (coffee and blueberry flavors specifically)

We both found that after we started vaping, we couldnt even stand smoking regular cigarettes.

My current 3 flavors are Pink Spot juicy watermelon and Fuzion Vapors Endless Summer and Crankberry.

Welcome Sheila Michele 1971!
Thats kinda what happened to me.
I bought an ecig at the smoke shop on a whim and found myself picking up the ecig more than my stinkers.
As the days went by, the taste of the stinks started tasting...well...stinky.
So, I guess you could say I quit by accident.
The best accident of my life, really. ;)
And I believe that had a lot to do with my success.
I tend to be a bit of a rebel at heart and if I had set out to quit, I would have just had a big fight with myself and continued to smoke.
LOL

it is interesting, for some of us we smoked cigs forever and automatically thought tobacco would be the way to go. I have tried a number of tobacco flavors and have not thought of any of them as an all day vape. I don't even bother with trying them anymore. Banana Cream Pie and Vanilla for me!

congrats on making the transition and good luck!

Welcome Sheila !
Glad you joined us here on ECF !
It's a fun and lively forum with a lot of friendly folks talking up Vaping.

Same story here, smoked 'burro reds'-PAD, 40 years...
Never thought I could ditch then...and I TRIED !!!

Got my eGo-C kit January 4th...quit smoking the day I got it.
Tried every 'bacco' flavor, didn't like any of them.
Really like the fruits, butterscotch and carmel and a few DIY Flavors I mix...
Like huckleberry and maple pecan.

Glad you and BF have found Vaping and lost the ciggies...
And he's a keeper if he bought the tank you wanted too !

Best to you Both !

i didn't think tobacco flavors were for me either.. until i tried a couple really good vendors.

now I'm hooked on at least 3 different tobacco's.. its crazy.

(the Indigo Ry one I'm vaping now is very light tobacco with caramel and vanilla its become an ADV for me)

i think there are alot of 'tobacco imitations' and places that have really bad flavors.

(example DIYFlavorShack - the 3 i tried from them were terrible tasting)
