Hi guys, thought I would finally make an intoduction post and also a bit of a question for anyone who might have an opinion. I started vaping about a year and a half ago on a joye 510 and managed to quit smoking for around 6 months while I was in the UK. When I returned to Australia, for reasons unknown (annoyed by the cartridges maybe), I picked the habit back up. A month or so ago I got myself a couple of ego batts and some cartos and have been steadily reducing my cigarettes and getting back into the swing of things.

I decided to take the plunge into mods a few days ago, and as it goes I got lucky with a run of my chosen mod (a reo grand) this morning! I have ordered a bunch more of lr boge cartos and I am shopping for batteries now. I will grab a couple or three of the AW IMR 18650 but I may also pick up either a 4.8V NiMH 600mah or 2, or maybe a 6v set up (2 AW IMR 18350 I guess?) So the question is, do you think it is a good idea to also grab the extra high voltage batts, and which ones?

Finally, Since before I started vaping I have read countless threads here and have found so much great info and so many helpfull people, I would have been lost without you. I would like to say a huge thanks to all of you and keep up the good work!

Actually, I think people are having a lot of good vape on the REO with the 4.8v (5v) battery. It has a couple of advantages over the 6v set up: 1) it's a "safe" battery and 2) you can use the SR attys that you have on hand. 2.3ohm (and even 2ohm) seems to be a sweet spot. You do have to fool with the 5 hour single battery charger though.

Here's a good thread on the 5v option http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/198476-reo-5v.html
