Long time lurker, first time poster

Hey everyone! First, I'd like to thank this whole forum for being awesome. I have been lurking since October, enjoying all the awesome advice and not contributing anything. I figured it was about time to actually register and learn a bit more. I started out with a couple evods and ego batteries purchased at my local B&M, and ended up buying a few toys this past month based on reviews here. I'm currently using a kbox and subtank mini, with a gi clone and full sized subtank as a backup. It works great for me, keeps me off the cigs. Any recommendations for new shinies would be appreciated!

Thanks for the welcome! Not gonna lie, I'm definitely keeping an eye on temperature control devices. I'd really like to try one out, but I'm a bit worried about the possible learning curve there. I'm not the best builder.

Congratulations on quitting smoking! You've got some good gear there. I'm generally a dripper but I love the subtank mini for when I'm driving my truck. Gear choice is a very individual thing and I'm partial to IPV and Sigelei boxes. Whatever works for you is what's best for you! Welcome to the forum.

Appreciate the welcome! One of the guys I work with helped me pick out the gear. He's spent way more money than I have, and helped steer me away from the crappy stuff. Any recommendations for drippers? I'd prefer something with a larger build deck. I'm not too great with finesse lol.

For flavor I'd recommend the Magma. For vapor production and not bad flavor, the Mutation x. The V3 is very easy to build on as it has dual center posts. No more crossed wires!

Hi there, yuseffuhler ! Welcome to ECF ! The Kbox is a nice little unit - it has the preset watt settings, right? how do you like that?

I've actually liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I got it as a cheap backup ($26!) and figured I'd use my gi. It has quite a lot going for it... Light weight (ccompared to the gi), nice look with the subtank. The preset wattage ends up being a non issue for me. if I'm using the 0.5 occ, I set it at 30. If I'm using the RBA, I set it at 20 with 0.7 ohm coil. Aside from that I rarely mess with it.
