Hi all figured it was about time I made my first post. I have been lurking on the forum for about 3 months now. I made a account awhile back so I could see posted attachments and finally made the switch just over a month ago (2/27/15 quit date). Found out very quickly I'm very allergic to PG so I've been vaping 100% VG liquids (velvet cloud vapor and open source vapor). Currently using a kangertech ipow2 1600mah and have a vapor flask clone (KANGXIN) sitting in LA customs soon to be delivered. I ordered it as a 1 month quitting present to myself. Also using kangertech subtank nano (what allowed me to quit) and a subtank mini that I just got and absolutely love. For the first time I could really see myself never having another cigarette. I've been trying to inform anyone I meet how much this has helped me and help them understand just how much safer it is then smoking. Sorry for the big block of text, just kinda how I write.
vape strong everyone,
Blake

Ya i'll post some pictures (poor cellphone quality) of my setup. Currently running a 1.4ohm coil in my mini's rda wicked with organic cotton balls. 3mg strawberry and vanilla 2x flavor and sweetner from open source vapors making strawberries and sweet cream. Running 11w to 13w and regularly hitting the 10s cutoff (I have extra large lungs, verified by xray). Just realized I don't know how to post pictures.

I don't know if you can yet. I think you have to get your 5 post minimum in. I just recently recieved a subtank nano, and I'm absolutely loving it. It's a very good tank, and I've not yet had it leak or gurgle ONCE. I've had zero issues with it, and it's been a dream to have. Be lucky you didn't start off with what they had when I started Ecigs...Stardust clearomizers. Had those break (tank cracking juice) then I decided to go with a protank II glass.. It was very fussy and ended up leaking/gurgling. Went Kayfun, it gurgled/leaked, went Fogger.. no leaking but was dual coil... For the longest I wanted a single coil glass tank that I could rebuild if needed and did not leak or gurgle...

had my subtank nano for 2 weeks... I think I've found my nirvana.

do you run the subtank with full air open? I have a cloupor mini and it has a 15 second cutoff. Another option might be to allow more air in beside the drip tip itself... so you're not inhaling just fromt he ecig.

Ya I've been extremely happy with both subtanks. The nano has never leaked or flooded, have gotten a little spitting. The mini I had leak when I took it camping this last weekend, pretty sure it was the pressure changed going into the mountains, I had it filled before I left. I run them both wide open most of the time unless I want a bit more flavor, I think hitting the cutoff is because I don't have the watts to take quick hits. Technically this isn't my first time vaping I tried those cig-a-likes when they came to 7/11 in like 2007 but was instantly off put by the taste and poor vapor. I really just can't wait for my DNA 40 vapor flask clone to come in, I find myself recharging my Ipow2 about 2 times a day. I almost bought the coupon mini when I started but couldn't justify the $75 price from my local b&m store not knowing if this would really work for quiting. Still happy with my decision since the coupon mini was just way to small for my hands (I'm 6'3" btw).

Ya had my last cig on 2/27 that day bought my vape gear and haven't touched one since. Honestly haven't really had the urge to, vaping fills my needs. Lots of clouds to play with and plenty of nicotine. Probably helps that I was smoking American spirits before I quit, already weaned myself off all the really bad additives. But man were they expensive, $7.75 a pack and a pack lasted me about 2 days.

Welcome to the forum! I see we have the same quit day, but I quit in 2012. I started out with those Blu ecigs and was quite happy with them for a little over a year. But then I started having issues with the batteries, the charger pack, and cartomizers. Then I switched over to an ego twist with Kanger T3's, and now I've fallen in love with my Provari P3 with a Kayfun V4 sitting on top.
