Long time user, first time posting with Battery Woes

I've been vaping for almost 2 years. I started with a 901 but have switched to a SideSho from MadernVapor.com almost 8 months ago and Love it. Had a 4 month old manual battery die on me recently so I replaced it with a new manual battery.

Within 2 days it went on the fritz. I would press the button to vape and it would fire up just fine but wouldn't shut off! It would continue to vape even after the cut-off flashing stopped. It would only stop after I unscrewed the atty and stay off until I pushed the button again, at which point the process would repeat. I plugged the battery into the charger to see if this would "clear" or "reset" the chip in the battery, and when I pulled it off it would no longer light up when I pressed the button. When screwed onto the battery it doesn't do anything either. I submitted a warranty claim but have yet to hear from them.

I checked the contacts for any e-juice or moisture otherwise and it was clean and dry. The button presses and clicks as normal and I haven't had any overflow incidents, so I do not believe this is a problem with the switch.

Anyone else have this kind of issue with a battery? If so is there a way I can fix it? I hate surviving off of a single battery. :(

Thanks for any advice!

Just got done with my last sidesho, same amount of charge time, but only 5min of vape time. The auto died months ago, the manual that i was using for dripping is now retired. Had a little of what you are talking about, the button was not working right and sticking, had to clean it real good around the button, make sure it is position correctly in the button hole. Those button switchs are not make for long use and are really small..I'm sure MV will replace the battery. If they do, also order a pt and maybe their new lux. I've moved on to the ego as they didn't have the lux when I wanted a bigger battery setup. Also used the 902, but the button on them is way to small for my useage.
