Do you feel physically better?

MUCH better. I used to wake up in the morning with a "pins and needles" feeling in my lungs and that stopped after 2 months of vaping.

Do you have more energy?

I suppose I do, I don't get winded walking up the stairs/ up hills and can breathe much better. More Oxygen = More energy and less wear and tear on the muscles.

Do you get less Flu's and colds?

BIG YES. I have found vaping wars off most common colds and I have only had the flu once since I started. That being said, when I was sick vaping was painful as all h#((, mostly because e-juice s anti-germicidal and when your lungs are infected, it's like a power cleaning. On average I would be sick for 1 to 3 weeks while smoking and vaping has more than halved the overall time of being sick and lessened the frequency.

Have you gotten any feed back from your Doctors?

Nope, but I don't go unless there is something seriously wrong, the last time I went I was asked if I smoked and said "No" and the doctor didn't say I was lying nor tell me that I was fibbing. I was told I had a clean bill of health and to keep it up.

One day... maybe 2 months in... I all of the sudden started taking deeper breaths. It was weird. It was like there was no resistance. Air just flowed in and out.

I was one of those people that thought smoking barely affected them. I never got that smoker's cough or anything like that.

I also get sick a lot less often and am starting to feel more energetic. I'm about 6-7 months in.

Do you feel physically better?

I feel 100% better since I started vaping. I can actually walk without having to stop to take my inhalor

Do you have more energy?

Yes

Do you get less Flu's and colds?

I used to get 3-4 golds a year, 8 month of vaping I finally caught my first cold and its about 70% less severe and lasted 1/4 as long as usual.

Have you gotten any feed back from your Doctors?

My doctor fully approves and supports vaping, and even referred a cardiologist who is now vaping and promoting vaping.

I would like to here comments from some of you that have vaped over 1+ years.
Do you feel physically better?

Absolutely. No more coughing, constantly clearing my throat, lungs feel clear.

Do you have more energy?

Hard to say. I think I do have a bit of extra energy, but not enough to crow about.

Do you get less Flu's and colds?

Haven't had one all year so far (knock on wood, toss salt, etc.) but it's probably still too early to tell. I usually average one a year but I've gone longer spells without.

Do you feel physically better?

I haven't felt this good in many many years.
I've had open heart surgery and had part of my lung removed but I still feel better even having had those things done
thanks to pv's! I also do not need to use any of the four inhalers plus steroids I was required to use everyday just to breathe easier. My lungs look better than they ever have and my lung function went from a .2 to a .25 which is damn near perfect on that particular test!

Do you have more energy?

I am now able to walk my dog again and not get winded from simply walking up my stairs.
This was a huge problem for me before I started vaping because I simply could not do these things.
I was using a wheelchair to get around for many appointments if the buildings were big and/or spread out.
I couldn't hack walking it was painful for me. It would sometimes bring on an asthma attack.

Do you get less Flu's and colds?

No I don't get any so far lol!

Have you gotten any feed back from your Doctors?

Yes.
All my doctors except one has congratulated me for quitting smoking
and almost all have asked for more info about the use of pv's for their family members.

Did your doctor approve of your vaping?
With the exception of one of my vascular surgeons all did.

Yes most did and wanted to know more.

Because I quit by using a pv my doctors wanted to learn more.
They asked many questions about the feasibility of maybe using them for patients whom nothing else worked.
I said I'd be happy to demonstrate of course. :)
I may be helping to implement a smoking cessation program in the near future
in conjunction with the clinic my pcc is affiliated with using donated ecig kits!
It was my one one year vaperversary on November 2,2011!

Do you feel physically better? Yes
Do you have more energy? Not really, about the same.
Do you get less Flu's and colds? Yes.
Have you gotten any feed back from your Doctors? Yes, My Otolaryngologist says my bronchial tubes look like I quit smoking and he said my hearing has gotten better. My GP says my health is better too. I have had all my Doctors tell me to keep up with whatever it is I'm doing.

After about 2 months, I picked up a flu bug. It lasted about 2 weeks total. I could not vape during that time. It was weird, but I did haul on some analogs to ease the fit. I didn't like doing it, but it was the only way to get my fix without hacking out a lung. Must have been the vaper that affected me. The dry analog hit made me hack, but not like the vape did. Anyway, the bug has passed a long while ago and the PV is back in 100% use, the analogs that are left are gathering dust day by day. BTW, I did go through that nasty bit with the withdrawls(hack, spit(srry), breathe) but they subsided.
As far as feeling better, I will have to wait a bit yet. And I told my Dr. that I quit smoking(I'll leave the vaping announcement til my next visit), she was all smiles as she is our family Dr and knows how much my father 62 years smoking (passed at 85)and mother 60 years smoking(passed at 84) smoked. I will get my Dr to do some tests(x-rays, etc) on my next visit and hear what she has to say. Then, I'll let her in on my vaping.

I had a cold recently, and was dreading the 3 week chest infection that i always get.... on the third day of cough i woke up free and clear, that is the first time i thought wow vaping might actually be better for me.

Same boat here last week! The bug going around would have knocked me out with nasty chest infection when I smoked analog's, it was a bad but never went to my chest like normal. I used to be able to know and feel it but for the first time it didn't hit my lungs any other time it didn't infest my lungs too bad it would manifest in my sinus to the point of forgetting about the lungs. Nice to not have to go to the walk-in clinic and just have chicken soup :)

No colds, bronchitis, or pneumonia!!

Have you gotten any feed back from your Doctors?
Doctor just said "Hmmm." But at least she didn't give me the ole "quit smoking" lecture this time, either.
