I used to be an all day vaper when I was using clearomizers and cartomizers, but once I got hooked with rda's, I pretty much only vape at home now. Sometimes I will have a vape before leaving the house, but if I don't, either because I'm running late, or forgot to charge my battery, doesn't really bother me.

Don't have a vape craving during the day anymore, but I do look forward to cloud chasing when I get home ;)

I don't vape while sleeping. I still wake up, so I figure I'm OK.

Darn, I was going to say that!

Outside of sleeping, I notice that if I get/stay busy, I don't really think about vaping. Not that I time it, but I know I've gone 2-3 hours sometimes without a vape if I'm involved in something.

Same here.but it usually because I am some where that vaping would not be appreciated. It does seem to be about the same as when I smoked.

Im not sure how long exactly, but I do know this..

I can go far longer without vaping, if I need too, than I could without a cigarette. And not that I "couldnt" go without a cigarette, but after a certain point.. I would FEEL it. I would be hurting for one bad, almost completely out of control of my personal irritability, very uneasy and on edge..

With vaping, I dont get that. Its just like, "ok, vape would be good now." But Im not nearly as on edge or uneasy and irritable.

Thing is, current lifestyle dictates that I can vape whenever, wherever, and how much ever, I desire.

I was rebuilding the carburetors on a couple of my race bikes and realized I'd been in the garage for, I dunno, six hours or so without vaping. Totally different from smoking. I would have gone through a pack during that time and activity. It was very odd. No cravings, no nicotine fits. Would have NEVER happened with cigarettes.

Normally, I hit it all day like a baby with a pacifier. :D

Same here. I would have panic attacks when I realized that I only had a few cigs left and it was late at night, for example. I'd drive to a gas station in the wee hours to get a pack. Just in case.

I could go +1 on many things said here.

I do not vape while hiking or in the official meetings I interpret - which could go as long as 5-6 hours. And yes, it's easier than going as long without an analog.

Also, I do a 2 hour workout (combined spinning, running and calisthenics) every night, and I do not vape during that, plus say half an hour after for shower etc.

However, I must say that the first drag after few hours of not vaping is the sweetest :D

It's interesting how that seems to be pretty common. I wonder if that has something to do with our bodies being purged of the 4,000 odd chemicals in cigarettes, and now all we have is the nicotine and the puffing habit....?

After 30 years of smoking, I can honestly say that for the last ten or so I stopped enjoying cigarettes. Smoking became a burden. Vaping is a whole different animal for me - I actually look forward to a nice, tasty vape!
