So, I bought my eGo and had some trouble starting off until I discovered dripping. But by then, I had apparently managed to kill my atty. (It was possibly bad when it got here, but looking back, I can definitely see how user error was probably the culprit.) The eGo only comes with one atty, and I didn't buy extras because a five pack was so expensive for something I was just trying out, the single ones are ridiculously priced, and they were out of the cheap ones. I managed to use it half-time for two days. After that, I was getting no vapor at all. Sometimes I'd try to draw and get nothing but air, and sometimes I'd get TH that would choke a Camel no filter smoker, so I put it up until new atties could get here.
They got here today, and WOW, this is a totally different experience with an atty that works! LOL I have slightly more than a pack of cigarettes left, so I'm going to return to alternating analogs with vaping and allowing myself extra analogs if I have purely psychological freak out moments. I like the idea of not buying more cigarettes after these are gone, but I'm not sure I'm ready for that. I'll see how I feel in a couple of days when they're gone.
The bizarre thing is that during those two days when I was alternating, I was only smoking because I'd told myself I could. I didn't actually crave a cig, and that's what makes me believe absolutely that eventually, I *will* smoke my last analog.
I'm so glad I found this forum. Otherwise, I might have thrown that first piece of crap I bought (Eluma) into the trash and never looked back.
One last thing, I have to give a thumbs up to Totally Wicked. I ordered new atties from them since Janty was out. There was a slight problem with my order, so I called this morning. The lady who answered was very nice, apologized for the problem, and got it taken care of for me. I hadn't heard of the Tornado when I bought my eGo, but they have the better deal, and had I purchased from them, I would have gotten an extra atty.
